I was just kidding asking what Yankee was. We Northerners don't call anything Yankee except "Yankee Pot Pie" So it always makes me laugh to hear or read it. So here is the Jimmie explaination and guess what - it is very specific "Yankee Speak" Jimmies/Sprinkles

The only think I call yankee is...Yankee candle company!

It's election day, and I had to turn around at the poll to go to work - the line was too long!

Can you believe how that ended? I was so relieved that Lynette wasn't killed. I guess that she was shot in the arm? Do you think that Carlos and his wife will work things out. Did you just want to reach out & hug Tom when he showed up at Bree's with the kids upset that Lynette was running late. I was really getting tired of the character that they did kill off so that upset me. Now they can move on.

I missed it because I was playing cards. Who did they kill off?

When we moved to NC I was shocked by the number of natives who actually thought that I moved from the North. Yes, VA is north of NC BUT they meant the north as in the Civil War. OY BOY! I finally had to stop their nonsense by pointing out that VA had to be OK since their capital was in our state. They actually tried to argue that Richmond wasn't in VA back then. OY BOY! OY BOY! OY BOY!

Well I am feeling better today and back at work. John got home around 6 last night and went to bed for the night!
Woke up to rain today, yuck! Have to vote and then the pool company owner is meeting us at the house around 5 to go over some issues. I am hoping we can switch to a different day though, when it isn't raining.

One month from today is vacation time! Yippee!!

I was on the WDW website last night and now the FL rates have dropped off their system for the 12/7-12/9 period. I did find rack availability at Coronado and Pop. I am leaning towards switching as I would rather have the price difference in spending money for the cruise. We'll see....I am horrible with decisions.

I am having the same issues. I have to get wrapping!!! I need to get scrapping. I need to get Christmas card address writing...you name it!

Personally I do not use tobacco...so for me hey..tax away. But is it really fair to others...KWIM?

That is just incredible. I am glad that we haven't reached that point with the kids yet. I would hate to have them witness something like that. If that happened to DS I would be out on the field holding his hand...not ignoring him while attacking a kid and a police officer. Football isn't exactly a wimpy sport. If you allow your child to play, then you accept the possibility that they are going to be hurt....which is why DS doesn't play football.

This will happen with ANY sport. I saw it in baseball with my DS. I had to hold back a coach from going after an umpire who was a KID (coach on the OTHER team). I told him if he wanted to pick on someone, pick on me - and got between him and the kid. Idiot. I have also seen such boorish behavoir in speech and debate. All these parents think their kids are headed to the major leagues in whatever, and it makes them crazy people who ruin a good experience for kids.
