12/04/2010 Eastern MAGIC - CHIP 'N' DALE'S CRUISIN' NUTS

My info's correct... might try to do the 'Munk Walks but haven't really thought past just getting on the ship :goodvibes

-Ken

All packed and ready for my Disney trip :) I managed not to tell Abby, I cant wait to tell her tonight!! And celebrating my Birthday at Le Cellier on Saturday should be awesome, my first time at the Food and Wine Festival. Cant tell im excited can ya? LOL

Our Info is Correct.

Time to get the FE gifts started.

Jenn: Have fun this weekend!! Happy early birthday!! :cheer2:

for all those in the Fish Extenders..the info on our website is correct.. Shari has done a fantastic job keeping it updated for us.... it is the same information I will be sending out very soon. :) 4 cabins have been dropped from our list.

Duffy lands in less than an hour. He will be with us on the cruise. Cant wait to take lots of pics with him around the ship. A big thanks to Ken who brought him back from his trip so we can have him ahead of time. Ryan is excited wants more outfits for him already. Thinks he is only going to Downtown Disney after cruise, little does he know we are staying for 3 days.

Wonderful! :thumbsup2

If you haven't seen pics of the various costumes, check out my Duffy's most recent post on this page of his site. I think my Duffy will now definitely have to find a way to stowaway with my 'munks on our cruise!

Tas, Don't think I've forgotten about bringing Pal Mickey as well -- he's gotta get some sea time!

Which reminds me to pick up some fresh batteries to make sure he's fully charged for the trip...

Okay now . . Am I going to be forced to wear the same clothes every day in order to accommodate luggage space for Chip, Dale, Duffy and Pal Mickey and their wardrobes and accessories? Just when I got re-packed for the Magic after unpacking and re-packing for the Wonder cruise, do I now have to remove 80% of that for the demands of my plushies and Pal? Will my shoulder tote carry-on that was going to be switched for my Mickey rolling backpack now have to be traded for my 21" DCL wheeled carry-on that won't be holding anything for ME? And do you think I could rent a stroller when I'm aboard to wheel all these guys around? :lmao:

Do you think we should have a Duffy party and a Pal Mickey party in addition to our 'munk get-togethers? :rolleyes1

Our info. is correct but those with kids please note... Mac will be only about 3 weeks shy of 11. As a 5th grade teacher I've noticed there is a often a big, big difference between the two ages :goodvibes

Thanks to Shari and everyone else for the planning you have all been doing. I have been absolutely swamped with football, school, dance and just life in general. When I saw how few days are left I started to panic! We are tag teaming putting together our FE gifts on Monday since we do not have school. Since ours are edible we had to wait till as close as we could or they wouldn't be nearly as yummy! Is anyone else doing regional things? Ours are a local favorite. See everyone soon!:lovestruc

Stephanie - Although Mac being "3 wks from 11" is noted on the Cruisin' Nuts Kids list, I also just added it to her listing on the regular cruiser list. ;)

Sorry for the delay. I've been much busier than usual, so much so that I didn't get at the computer at all today until about 30 minutes ago. Yikes!

Yet another FE update... 25 cabins total are participating.... I will double check but I came up with 77 people. ;)

What do you have in mind? I'm not one for games myself (I'm a very serious person - honestly!) but most would probably love it, so if you are offering to take charge of the meet 'n' greet - Sure! Have at it and thanks!

As for knowing who's who - I am hoping many of our Cruisin' Nuts will print out and wear our logo with their user name on it, but that's probably not going to happen. :lmao:

Well it is not a game per say;)....for the last 2 cruises I asked for people if interested to bring a meet n greet gift something simple to represent where they were from or a little something to represent their hometown... then I had everyone put there DIS names all in a bag and we drew names and it was a cool way for people to intro themselves and their family... You didn't have to participate but most disers did and enjoyed putting faces to the names in a fun way :) No biggie though if people feel they don't want too :) Let me know if people are interested in the exchange... IT IS SEP FROM FE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some people did one or the other or both..... MANY People participated and the different regional items were cool! Last year the DISER who pulled my name gave me a WALTDISNEY World bag of little goodies because they were from Florida  I gave UNC Tarheel FB and Carolina Peanuts one year:rotfl: so give a shout if people want too:thumbsup2 Ill do it if we have at least 10 people interested....I might also bring a little something else as well for the group:rolleyes1

OUR INFO IS CORRECT..... My oldest Layne will be 16:scared1: in December so we are celebrating his birthday on last night of the cruise..:thumbsup2..

Shari If enuff people respond to the meet n greet gift exchange can we add it to the main page?

ruley3 - It would probably be best if people respond to you here if interested in the meet-n-greet exchange. The only thing that may hinder your plan at this late date is that it is barely over a month until we sail. That may be a bit late for some people to get organized for something new, especially with Halloween this weekend then Thanksgiving before we sail, and most people still organizing and packing while handling their family responsibilities. I know mine are getting more intense the closer we get. :rolleyes1

But it sounds like a wonderful idea (Makes me think I sailed with you in the past - lol) for those wanting to participate. I appreciate your efforts. :thumbsup2

I LOVE THE IDEA and 1 small gift to add is not that big of a deal for me - whats one more gift - I know it needs to be different then the FE and I already have an idea and can get it when I do food shopping - so count me in - sounds like fun!!!!!

mengpasc - Are you on our cruise? I do not see you on our cruiser list and I see that this was your first post on the Dis. :confused3
