12/04/2010 Eastern MAGIC - CHIP 'N' DALE'S CRUISIN' NUTS

Our info is correct. :thumbsup2

Shari: I will email you later with updates for the F/E list... I have not had any contact with the following cabins:

DaisyMae
My4bratz
DZnymania
FloridaSunshine

Off to Costco to buy our Halloween candy. :)

Our info is correct.
My birthday is November 14, can I celebrate on the cruise or is that too much time between my birthday and the cruise? :confused3

So, we started getting the cruise room (our spare room where everything has been put) together and I realized I have so much stuff bought for the FE I may need another suitcase to take with us. Actually thinking about shipping it ahead. Let me say the kids will be getting lots of goodies and the adults too. Handmade and bought>

Taswira-- our info is all good for FE list

When it's the middle of the previous month, that MAY be a bit late - lol - at least as far as having DCL give you a cake at dinner and sing Happy Birthday, since your birthdate is part of your cruiser info. BUT there is nothing wrong with YOU celebrating! Many people celebrate various occasions ANY time of year. The strangest I saw was a couple who celebrated their anniversary on a cruise 5 months after their anniversary. So I guess anything goes! :rotfl2:

I'm too self-conscious about it. I've only celebrated when I'm on the ship on my actual birthday. Even if it's a few days before or after, I don't, but that's just me. ;)

All info is correct -- anticipating Duffy to be with us as well
Thank you to those who have confirmed their list info. :)

And GolfNPirate - Let me know if you definitely bring Duffy. If you and/or others bring him, I may need to convince my chipmunks to pack a bit less so that mine will get to sail the Magic also. :goodvibes

Thanks guys! :thumbsup2

Val (and for all participating in the FE) - I both PM'd and emailed DaisyMae, My4bratz, DZnymania & FloridaSunshine. They have not logged in for awhile and tracking shows they have not read the PMs. I went ahead and removed the "Yes" for the FE for each of them and left it blank. No need to notify me about their status unless you hear from them that they ARE still participating. I'll keep you posted as well.

OK, I won't.

Those who have confirmed their info with me either on this thread or by email or PM now have a green asterisk in front of their names on our cruiser list.

I will update the list as I receive confirmations, but keep in mind that in spite of how it seems, I am not always at the computer. So although most changes will be noted almost immediately, they will sometimes not happen until the following day. After all, I DO need to occasionally go to the store . . . and to WDW.

And Judy - You should feel free to celebrate however you like as long as you are comfortable with it. Believe me, I am not the last word on how and when to celebrate or not! party:

when we were on our cruise 3 years ago in Oct, the waiter brought us a cake that said Happy Anniversary. we smiled and said thank you!.... our anniversary is Dec 28th. ( wonder whose cake we got.) :rotfl2:

our kids asked if we are are going to celebrate on this cruise... I didnt even think about it .... I dont think we will.

We did celebrate John jrs bday in the park in May.. we were there May 9th.. his bday is May 28th.

I just checked my passport dates and it expires in 2/2011, does anyone know if I need to renew it before we cruise or can it wait until we come home?

I think you'll be fine, but you should give DCL a call to check for certain. Since it's a closed-loop cruise (originating and returning to US) and doesn't involve international air travel, I don't think there will be any problem.

Also, it would probably not be wise to be sending your passports in for renewal this close to the cruise. Sometimes there are delays, especially at peak vacation times or (in this case) close to holidays. So just give your TA or DCL a call to inquire.
