Welcome to all the new cruisers!! We are home from vacation... 2400 miles and 6 states... I am glad to be home!!

we are letting both of our girls 10 and 12 have full sign out privileges. on our last cruise Gabby was 10, the first day we didnt give her full privileges but she met up with another friend from the dis boards and the 2 of them were together the whole cruise. (and they would go in/out of the clubs by themselves.. it was great!)

Yes, I can! Not staying in a suite (verandah's fine with me), but I'm Platinum.

Still haven't decided though. I'm not doing any excursions, and as a solo I can only book myself for Palo. Not sure if that would be much fun, but I might. I think so far I've only done Palo when I'm with someone. I think I'd be feeling like Greta Garbo - "I vant (want) to be alone!" - sitting in Palo by myself - lol.

This is our first time ever, we can't wait. We were able to grab one of the Mid Ship Cat 3's. I like the room layout better than the rest.

Our last cruise, we had room problems, so they gave us 25% off, only way we were able to do it, and we are glad we did.

so awesome about the Cat 3!!
We did a cat 4 on our last cruise and our room was soooo noisy!! ( 8572) it was right below the Mickey pool and all night long you heard chairs being dragged across the deck!! awful!! we had 8060 the year before and it was soo quiet!~

John needs to take just me on few cruises so I can become Platinum.

That was what my mom and I feared when they wanted to give us a free upgrade from Cat 7 to Cat 4 in January. I told her it could be a noisy location, and she insisted on us sticking to our Cat 7 Deck 7. I'm fine with that.

Now what I really would like is the Walt suite, but when I got the grand tour (as a TA) back at the start of 2002, it still had the piano.

But I do love the layout of the Cat 3.

I've decided that I will probably go ahead and try to book Palo tonight. If I can get an early dinner there on pirate night, it makes it easier to get to the deck party than worrying about getting out of late dinner and up on deck before the crowd. I think I'm anxious about it because a slow server once caused me to miss the first 15 minutes of the pirate party.

I hope everyone here is able to book their choices. Hang in there and know that there will still be openings once you're aboard. Booking on a 7-night isn't as competitive as on the shorter sailings where openings are so limited.

Well, I got carried away and booked Palo as follows - - Monday the 6th: 3pm High Tea (my b'day); Tuesday the 7th: 6pm Dinner (hopefully that will be Pirate Night); Thursday at 11:30: Brunch.
