We want to go to Goofy's Kitchen for brunch, but wanted to go as late as possible so we could stay in the parks most of the morning. I guess GK is open until 1pm for brunch but characters leave at noon. (I had wanted to go at noon). Do you think if we go at 11am it will be worth it (enough time for character interaction, food still fresh)? Thanks!

We had a noon reservation on Sunday. It was packed and crazy! The line to check in was very long. As soon as we got up to the counter the entire resort computer system went down. It took forever to check in, get called for our photo, then brought to our table.

They sat us at a big booth which was difficult to get up and out for the buffet. We saw two characters...Cinderella and Rafiki. We got tired of waiting so we left after about a hour and a half. Characters were still roaming around at that time, just not making it to our booth for some reason.

We would return to our early reservation times next time. Going early made for a better time.

That stinks! I'm sorry you had a bad visit. We are planning on going on a Wednesday.

I was planning on going at 1pm on a Sat. and was told that was a good time as it was slower and the characters came around lots.
Maybe not???
Would love some feed back.

I'm not sure about Sat-Sun, but I heard during the week they close at 1pm, and characters leave at noon.

We had a delcious meal though. Maybe we were able to focus more on the food this time around since we had so little character time. It was our favorite meal of the trip!
