$118 roundtrip from Boston on Delta, nonstop

We are bringing a girl from church with us and I wanted to add her reservation to our four. We had paid $157 for our tickets for an August departure date. Well, it was down to $118 roundtrip on the website this evening. It was down to $129 on the phone. (I had to purchase her ticket on the phone because she doesn't have the same last name.) I thought I would be able to get a voucher for the difference to the telephone fare if not the web fare. Wrongo! If you buy it on the web, that is it. No credits for fare differences. Period. Sooooo.... this is the LAST time I purchase from the Delta website. 1-800, here I come!

However, I did want to alert you about this fare. And I would book this fare on the Internet because there is NO WAY it can get any lower!

katherine just to let you know i paid 201 dollars on line 3 months ago from delta.i saw the end of last month the price went down to 144 called and was told i could get a voucher for the difference of the telephone price not the the on line price(152).so i was given four 49 dollars vouchers no problem.
i would try to call again and see what they say.

I also bought my tickets from Delta online and was given a voucher when prices dropped


However when I posted here on the same day others tried and were unsuccessful. I'd call back and try again

I bought my tickets on the web and got a voucher. But, I think if the original ticket OR the new ticket price was a special "WEB ONLY" price they will not issue a voucher. It never hurts to call again and ask for someone in customer service.

There was a time earlier this year that the web site was giving a special discount and e-mail confirmation would say "You saved $xxx.xx by buying from Delta.Com"....I'll bet those tickets are not eligible for vouchers.

At the same time that I wrote this message, I sent an email to Delta with my complaint. They wrote back this morning saying that I could get a voucher for the difference of my fare and the telephone price. Therefore, I got four $27 vouchers, which we will use in November! I am very happy about this! Thanks to all who told me to keep trying!
