1100 Loop?

Anyone stayed on this loop...and if so, how'd you like it? Any particular site you'd recommend - on this loop or another? We're two adults - no need for playground, won't use bathhouse, and the dogs are staying home. We're taking our bikes, so distance isn't a big problem. Going to Ft. Wilderness for the first time this September. THANKS!

Stayed in the 1100 loop in March and found it to be fine. At that time there were still many winter residents there. The comfort stations are great, especially when it is cold, the hot water in the shower is really hot and lasts a lot longer than our little 6 gallon tank.
When in Sept. are you going to be there? We have resies for early Sept.

There really is no bad place at Fort Wilderness! It is my absolute favorite campground!

When in September are you going to be there? We will be getting married at the Pavillion on September 18 and then checking into the campground on the 19th for our Disneymoon.

ABOUT THAT 1100 LOOP................
how do I get into that loop in the winter...
I go every year Jan to Feb......
have tried year after year........(no pets...low key,...quiet...
some regulars told me it is pretty much RESERVED by the winter people
how can that be when they ALWAYS tell you there are NO LOOPS RESERVED.......
BUT one of the 1100 PEOPLE did let me know that when a site becomes available during that period, there is a little within e mail group who passes the info on the 'THERE OWN".............
HUM..........just like the big real world...............................
