Little did I know the labor pains I experienced 11 years ago today would change my life in ways I could never have dreamed!
Today is Garrett's birthday! (I thought it quite an honor they named this month National Down Syndrome Awareness Month in his honor!! LOL!!)

Anyway, I will invite you to read about this day in our history at http://www.geocities.com/alemankc/personal.htm . So Happy Birthday to my little Tazmanian Devil!!!!

And never forget how easy one's life can change and in ways we least expect it and how much we need to savor every waking moment!!!

What a wonderful page Kristy! My family was fortunate to have a special friend with Down's Syndrome, although not officially a sister she's always been considered one of us. I don't think I've ever known anyone as kind hearted and true. Such a wonderful person, so much we can learn from people that are different from ourselves.
