Is there a certain number of days to go by? How do I figure this out exactly?

TIA!

Shelby

It is simply 11 calendar months from your check-in date, for up to a 7 day reservation.

For example, to book June 14 to 21, you can call July 14th. That is for your home resort.

For non-home DVC resort it is 7 calendar months, so for June 14, you'd call November 14.

Or get the wonderful free program from Caskbill.com. This will tell you all the dates for 11 or 7 months and is fun to dream with.

Has Caskbill adjusted to the new reservations schedule yet? I thought that you used to make your ressie 11 months from the last day of your trip. :confused3

He says that he is working on it. :thumbsup2

I wrote my own quick .NET program to display how far away my vacations are and to remind me when to book my stays and ADRs.

So, I want to book the week Oct.25-Nov1(Sunday night to Sat. night), and I want to add on an extra Sunday night. So I can call on Nov.25 to book the first week, but then I have to call again on Dec.1 to book that one extra night:confused3
Then, when I want to try to move at the 7 month window, I have to call two separate times also to book it:confused:

You can either call on Nov 26 to book all 8 nights, or call Nov 25, book 7 nights, and call back any time on or before before Dec 1 to add the last night.

Thsame at the 7 month window, you can try to book the first 7 noghts right at the window, or wait one day and book the entire stay in one call. It really depends upon how quickly your resort normally books up. At OKW, I waited until the 3rd day of the reservation window, and booked a 10 night stay all at once.

Thanks for the info.
As my home resort is BWV, and my ressie is during F&W, and I'm trying to switch to BCV, and I'm a bit of a neurotic planner, I will probably make the two separate calls.:rolleyes1

That is probably a good idea for that time frame and resort choice.

DVC Mike,

Would you be willing to share this with the rest of us. I could use an organizer like that and I am not savvy enough to make my own.
