11 Month Booking Question

We are currently in the process of purchasing two contracts for the BW through resale. They are currently in the ROFR process. Once they clear (hopefully) and the points are transferred to us after closing I was wondering about the 11 month window. If we are looking for a trip for mid Aug. 2014, does the 11 month window open at the beginning of the month or do we have to call on the day that would be the 11 month window (say looking for Aug. 15, do we call Sept 1 or Sept. 15). This is probably a dumb question but since we have never done this it is all still a little confusing. Thanks for

Home resort priority window opens 11 months from check-in date. Non home resort window opens at 7 months from check-in date.

For Aug 15, 2014 arrival date, you could first book on Sep 15, 2013. If you are currently still waiting for ROFR, it is unlikely you will be closed and in the system and able to make a reservation before Oct.

Thanks for the answers. I realize that we are looking at mid to late Oct for the points from the first contact to get in our account. Do you think we would have any problem getting a 2 bedroom at the BW (home resort for both contracts) at that point. We would be looking for a water view not a standard view.

Based on prior history, pool/garden view will still be available that time of year (even at 7 months out). At 9 to 10 months out, there may be some chance for boardwalk or standard view

We are new owners and just got the owner's website setup. We found that on the page is a little box that tells us the date we can book out to based on what today's date is. Once you get bought and can access the website it makes this part quite easy.
