11/30 Magic cruisers.....

Hello all....we are down to two weeks and counting....14 short days and we will be hanging out on one of the most beautiful ships on earth.....and I for one am looking forward to seeing all on deck 10 for the sail away...Ok..I will be on deck 10 watching everyone party....sometimes it is more fun to watch people just have a great time....and see you all at the Goofy pool on Monday afternoon! Let's get excited.....it is gonna get here before ya know it...and everyone...have a blessed Thanksgiving!

good morning Tom - as Tom said "Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone". I'll most likely find a few mins to be on the boards that morn (having A drink at friends house) but since we are leaving that day at 130pm-ish you wont hear from me until some of you see me at the Radisson Fri afternoon.

Got a question - does anyone start to panic at this time? We're down to 12 days and now Im wondering - will the furnace blow up? will we come back to a snow buried car? do I have enough money? what dining rotation will we have? (sorry had to throw that in)
I actually got 4 hrs sleep last night w/out waking up
12 more days till we leave !!!

Sailaway - deck 10 - want to plan on the back (stern?) of the ship? Im assuming those w/younger kids may want to be right in the middle of the action. But most likely DH & DS will want to be way up on top away from some of the crowd. (We'll probably watch most of the character interaction from afar - like looking down from our deck 5 onto the atrium)

Tom - no way are we just watching the sailaway from deck 10 - nuhuh wont let ya - I'm bringing bubbles and Im dancing!! Im expecting all my DIS buddies to party with me!

Ladies - what are you wearing for formal & semiformal nights? Now that DH ordered his tux Im afraid I wont be dressy/slinky enough -lol
I have 2 long black skirt outfits each w/matching top. Maybe I need a shiny silver top for formal night? Actually I have been looking but cant find one that I want.

Barb...I can relate to the panic situations....since I never take the insurance....and cannot fly out the day before I worry that something will go wrong....but try to stay positive....if the plane is oversold...will they try and bump me off....all the nonsense that probably won't happen.....you also start to worry about all the terrorism that is going on and the threat...actually I think the threat makes me more nervous than the actual stuff...go figure...but looking forward to those big shrimp on sailaway day at the buffet.....have a good night all...talk to you guys soon....and let's get ready to party!

I also have not decided what to wear. It will be black... hoping to find something shiny. Also want to look sexy (lol), and mostly want to look nice for our family formal photo.
I will be doing lots of shopping this week. Unfortunately, this is the busiest time for me at work and I am working around the clock right now. I must get out to the mall sometime this week and figure out what I am doing... then, packing next weekend!!!! Also have to fit in haircut and waxing (sorry Tom) before we leave.

Yes....it is getting a lot closer for all of us....and just to share with you guys....my wife and daughter put one over on me last night...they threw me a 50th Birthday...a surprise one....party last night since I will not be home on my 50th....IO will be with you guys....and may I tell you...it was a total surprise...they really put it over on me....but it was nice seeing all my friends and sharing with them about our cruise coming up....talk to you guys real soon.....

awwww - that was a nice thing to do - did you get something you can use for your cruise?

Think we may need a meet at 2pm on Sun also - They are having "Fun in the sun" so we'll be up on deck already anyways. Think we should make our meets around times there is something going on already, more of a chance we'll be at the pool?

Great....more presents....and I am not usually the center of attention...I am the person sitting in the back watching everyone have a good time...so when I had to open presents last night I was feeling rather strange...but it was nice and a great thing to do for me.....now if I could just skip the 50th....let's go backwards...Almost 12 days to go for me.....cannot wait!

OK...12 days and about 4 hours for me until I am eating those big shrimp at the Welcome Aboard lunch......and it may be the only time you get the shrimp so I will not miss it.....I will be the guy with 15 of them on my plate...can't miss me....but seriously....it is getting down to crunch time....can't believe I booked this cruise exactly 365 days before we board...and now down to 12 days....cannot wait....well...yes....I can wait and want it to go slowly....looking forward to meeting you all....have a good one.....

From snowy Canada! We got tons of snow this weekend. It is beautiful! I love the winter and get so excited when the first snowfall hits. Although... I am looking forward to escaping the cold in a week and a half!

so does anyone have a list of the meeting time and place? from what i read, there is a meet at the goofy pool but that's all i know. can someone write it up and we all just plan on trying to be there?
