Greetings all.
Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for all the kind words. Things are still pretty tough around our house so keep those good thoughts going.

Elizabeth and I had such a good time in Philly this weekend. We stayed at the Ritz, saw Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, went bowling, watched a movie and went out for 2 great dinners. It was just a perfect daddy/daughter weekend.

Welcome Mickeyluv

Busy weekend. I tried baking little mini wedding cakes for my sister's Bridal Shower...again. Still didn't work. They keep sticking to the pan. I am going to try one more time and then I will have to come up with something else.

Weather was pretty nice here over the weekend...sorry However, right now it is saying there will be rain the entire weekend we are in Disneyland. I hope it changes. I wouldn't mind so much if it was warm and rainy but cold and rainy is just miserable.

good luck sleeping on the verandah, because we didnt get one this time I will loan you guys the extra blanket to take outside on deck 4 where the padded loungers are.
Mickey Luv has got the tub and
Gregs family is gonna take up the couch and floor I'm afraid.

Once you hear my Greg snore it will clear out the cabin so I am not too worried you can fight over the life boats I guess.

Greg that is just way too cold for humans and animals. Lots of animals will free to death that cold, like deer and cows and such if they cant get them into warmer places.


I have a pot of vegetable beef soup in the slow cooker today, it sounds like I need to send it to you guys. Thank goodness you have a fire place so if you loose power you wont freeze. One time many years ago wel ived at the foot of a mountain and we got close to that cold, we had to drive kids to the bus stop and keep the car going until the bus came. It hurt to breath the air.

Ironically, she e-mailed me late last week and said that he's OK. The cardiologist referred him to his family doctor, his family doctor referred him back to the cardiologist! To sum it up, it's stress. You know he gets pretty wrapped up in work and stuff.

He did say at dinner more than once he needed to relax and just let things go when he wasnt at work but he just couldnt do it, maybe now he will be able to relax some before something terrible happens.

Yeah...alright! We get the couch and floor! I was afraid all six of us would get stuck on the pull down bunk bed!

I had my fireplace going all night long and normally it gets my house too hot and I have to crack the back door a little, but last night I had it blazing and my furnace still had to kick on to help keep the house warm!!

Vegatable beef stew sounds so good! I think you have given me the answer as to what to make for dinner tonight!

I can't believe that its almost noon and there is not a cloud in the sky and the sun is shinning, but the tempurature outside is still -17!

Kathy, I will sleep in the closet. Its not like we get a lot of sleep on these cruises anyway. The bar is open until like 2, and then breakfast starts at 6ish. I think we could all live through it. I would love to go back to Nassau. Please have a great time for all of us.

Wendy, I'm here, just trying to stay warm, i had to hack up my desk and burn it to keep warm. (j/k) I was 2 hours late to work, Hunter didn't have school and I wasn't getting out with all the idiots on icy roads this morning.

Afternoon all:

Well its not as cold as Greg has it, in Idaho....but we did get around 3inches of snow last night. My morning drive to work...normally 25 minutes took about 50 minutes this morning. When I pulled out of our sub-division onto the main street...traffic was backed for a mile....it took me 10 minutes just to make it thru the street light.....then they didnt have the streets plowed very well so it was slipping and sliding for awhile....but I did have a few minutes to spare to stop at Dunkin and get my coffee

Jeff: Glad you had a nice daughter/daddy trip.

Kathy: Have fun...

Bob: Cant believe you are getting such cold weather in Atlanta....

Everyone else...stay warm just keep thinking January almost over....which means it will start to warm up soon

Well, took Joshua to see his planned campus at Penn State....LOVED IT!! I think he will be only about 15 mins from Larry and Maryellen. Doesn't have onsite dorms so he will go into an apartment -need to get furniture etc. -oh man..... But seeing the campus has aleviated alot of my fears/nervousness

Mom gets out of the rehab next week Lets hope this starts a new and better time in her life...who knows, she may get to go on that Alaska cruise she has always dreamed of

My niece and her husband and kids may be joining us in November
