Hey Linda! I love hardware stores too! You can really get me excited by taking me into a Lowe's! Forget Target, Wal Mart, and the malls - just give me the home improvement stores!

I love to grocery shop! I can spend hours watching people as they: block the isles reading package labels, stand over the meat counter checking out the packages of beef with their cart blocking you from any movement what-so-ever, try to grab the last item off the shelf as you are reaching for it, get mad at the deli workers because they forgot to take a number and they were there before the person behind you, rush to the checkout line just to leave their cart there because they forgot to get something...oh yes, the joys of supermarket sweep! I'm with you Lynn - it is #@%%.

Lynn - did you find out what sex your little bundle of joy is yet?

Pat,
December 5th we go for the sonogram to see what the little bundle of joy is!!

Hi All ... for those that haven't read the '07 board, just an update from the Mutt/Woo household ...

Yesterday I spoke with our vet and we are going to have to let Guido go this weekend. He has been having many troubles, and last week he had 5 seizures, including at least one Grand Maul this past Saturday. I made the appointment and burial arrangements, and he will be buried in the same cemetary with our Sammy, who we lost 2 years ago.

It's so weird ... his is the longest relationship I've ever had ... 16.5 years. He was born during the first Bush administration, lived thru Clinton and the second Bush administrations! My gosh ... I was 25 when we met, had a mullet and no gray hair!

Sooooooooooooo .... all in all, we're doing OK really. We know it's time to quit being selfish and let him go. It will be a very tough Saturday for us.

Shell and Bill,
I am so sorry about Guido:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: !! When I read your post I started crying:sad2: :sad2: .

Good Evening    ,
Well today I headed down to my in-laws. We went to the Dollar store and I got afew coloring books and books for DS for the airplane ride to Disney. Well that is all that is going on here today. Just wanted to check in. Let me go check on my pizza that is in the oven.
Have a nice night    !!

Hi    Hope you all had a good day. It was a nice day here-in the 60s:goodvibes I spent the afternoon outside putting away the last of the summer stuff and trying to get my plants ready for winter.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a good day. I went for my massage that was heaven-:cloud9: Then I went to lunch with my mom and did some shopping. We did not go to dinner last night. We are going to Frankenmuth on Friday for thier world famous all you can eat chicken:woohoo: You will have to roll me out of there. After that we will hit Bronners the Christmas store. I plan on buying the Christmas ornament that looks like the Magic. I was kicking myself for not getting last year.

Shell and Bill-more:grouphug: :grouphug: Been thinking about you.

Bill-That was a cool picture:thumbsup2

Kathy-I got that as an email. It is funny:lmao:

Hi to the rest of the  Have a good night.

Happy Thursday all,

we are cool and clear out this morning.

Pixie decided at 4:30 it was time to run over and jump on the bed to be our alarm clock.
so I have an early start this morning. Not sure what to do with all the extra time. There must be some trouble I can get into:lmao:

off to check the other board,

kathy

Hey gang since you guys know a lot of the 07 cruisers I thought you might get a kick out of this poem.
one day someone posted a couple of lines and told everyone to add a couple lines of their own during the day. so everyone added something according to silly things that had been posted by them ro about them for the past few months.
for the people you know, you will recognise and understand the posts. It was a fun nonsense thing to do. Maybe in about 6 months we can try it on this board when more people join us here.
see if you like the idea.

Twas Two Weeks Until Cruising

Twas two weeks until cruising
and all through the land
Nanaheads were dreaming
of cocktails and warm sand.
Some of the Nannas were packing away,
While poor ol' Mutt was trying
to assign the Question of the Day
Kathy had deck 4 snoozing on her mind
While Cheri, Kim and Shell packed rum, beer and wine
We'd checked in and boarded and pulled out our stash
In preparation for the long-awaited Nana-head bash

When out on the deck there arose such a party
All heads were a-turning to see bananas a-coming?

People were running and screaming in fear,
when the momma banana with a whip did appear

The Nanas weren't fearful when Mom came into view
She yelled "EVERYONE! PORT SIDE! SO OKIE CAN SEE YOU!"

The twins from NC with their families in tow
Knew the Nanahead party was not far to go

Cheri should have trained harder
to get us where we were going
20 miles from St Thomas
she got tired of rowing

Mutt stared at Treys bottom
with envious glances
His fears were well founded
as Trey accepted the advances

Kim was such a nice girl
They all said she was sweet
all it took to corrupt her
was the nanahead meet

The sisterhood claimed her
her reputation in tatters
she cried out in defiance
"Full Frontal Nanity!--thats what REALLY MATTERS!"

The ship was top heavy, that was the news
The only solution was to ditch some of Christine's shoes

No motorcycles allowed Rick was told
So off to the dog house he did go…

Oh but she's always there
so you men in speedos better beware

On Formal night the women where eager to please
so they packed their hefty bag dresses with poofy sleeves

Bill, Brantley and Jeff....objects of womens affections....
chicks all dig guys with the rogaine connections.

Lets not forget Terri and Sue and Melanie and Dawn...
Their nanas intact but their innocence quite gone.
They've arrived at the ship with a drink and a smile.
Soon they'll be sailing with an ah-peeling style.

And Josh was quite grown from way last year back
An engineer soon, chasing girls in The Stack

And as we get ready,
For this most wonderful cruise;
All they could think about,
Was getting some booze.

And Josh will too
When he has kids to raise.
They make you tired
And put your mind in a haze.

The drinks were really flowing
Popping corks, tapping kegs
When in walked Ron
With his bare sexy legs

So, with all of that said
You can see why we're here
Cruising only gets better

Good Morning    ,
Well today in NY is cold and rainy!! We are going to stay in today and start getting the house ready for Thanksgiving. Going to DS's wash:laundy: :laundy: which is an everyday chore because he wears he food very well ;) ;) ;) !!! That is all that is going on here today. Talk to you all later!!

Kathy: Love the 07 NanaHeads Poem!!!

Shell: This is for you and Mutt :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Lynn,
we went 6 years ago.
it was worth the money as long as you plan on staying for the entire evening.
we didnt realize how late it ran and greg had to work early the next day, so we couldnt stay and fully enjoy it.

but we loved what we did do.

kathy

Good Morning Everyone!

Kathy: Love the poem! Sounds like this is going to be a fun group!

Actually getting a little rain here in S. Georgia, but not enough to really help do anything except water the grass.

Have a great day everyone!

Thank you, everyone, from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughts. Right now it's just surreal ...

On a completely different topic ... :dance3: We get to see Linda & Bruce on Sunday!!!! :dance3:

Pouring here.

Lynn, MVMCP is fun if you can get a night that's not to frigid and preferably go on a week night. The weekend nights are SO crowded its' not fun.

Plan to just hit the special party shows, events and characters, and not ride rides or your night has disappeared before you know it.

See the second parade. Check to see which direction it's going in - usually starts down by the emporium and sit near the start. Then, if you need to, you can bail as soon as it passes you.

I also highly recommend the Candlelight processional, if Drew will sit still for music (do the dinner package) and holiday version of illuminations - the ending is especially moving.

Looking FORWARD to seeing Shell & Bill :)

Poem is funny - wish I could write.

Tiggerking & all south - hope you get some serious rain.

Happy Day, All.

Good Afternoon Everyone:

Well, we were second from the bottom of page 1, so I figured I had better post something to keep us off of the dreaded page 2!

Linda & Lynn: The plans are slowly being firmed up for the New York trip, but with a slight change from my previous post. Lisa and I are looking at flying into Newark on 11/29 and spending 3 nights in NYC. On Sunday, we will drive over to White Plains. She will catch an early evening flight, and I will move into my hotel for the work week. That will be 12/2. So, if things work out, maybe we could meet for lunch or something.

I think we have initial plans to go to Brooklyn for church on Sunday morning to see the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. We sing so much of their music with our choir, that we have to pay a visit while we have the opportunity.

Have a great evening everyone!

Hi guys,
well you better get cracking around here for posting.
on the 07 board we strived to beat the 06 totals for posts and bananas and we did, and the cruise isnt here yet.
so this thread needs to beat the 07 totals to keep the tradition alive of uping it each year.
Last night we posted over 15,000 posts over 1,000 pages and over 62,000:banana: and we're not done yet.
so we have our work cut out for us here:rolleyes1

Just thought i'd give you a heads up on it.
after the 07 cruise many of us will be able to give our full attention to help out too.

who has plans this weekend?

none here for sure, maybe a movie if I can find one worth seeing.

Kathy
