well I have my bags of candy all ready for tomarrow night, I hope I have enough. we have a lot more kids here than last year. Several new home have been built and have families in them. Last year I believe we had 125 to 130 kids, should be 30 more if they all come.

OMG! 130 kids??? Wow, that's incredible! I don't think we have that many even living in our neighborhood. But we had TorT on Saturday night (it was a lovely, drizzly, chilly night) and we drove around a little bit to see the houses that were decorated. There were some neighborhoods that had TONS of kids!

Wow what a busy afternoon. I was up at school until 12:30 or so. I came home for an hour then went and got Jordyn from her school. I had to help her with home work, then I went and picked up Madison. Jordyn had to go to tutoring. Then we got to go visit some friends of ours, whom we have not seen in a while. We had a nice dinner with them. Finally home now, just trying to get the kids ready for bed:cloud9: I think I will go to bed earlier tonight. Last night I was up too late.

Denise:grouphug: for you.

Hi Kathy, Shell, Lynn and Bob.

Wendy-Have not heard from ya in a while. Hope everything is going ok.

Happy Halloween everyone,

hope it is a good day for everyone.
Lorna,
great pictures. I love the gingerebread house on the ship, it smells so good!! Your birthday cake is very cute!! Did the kids see that movie with the surfing penguin?? Cant think of the name but I thought maybe that was your theme for the cake. I loved the chicken in that movie, he was funny.

well today I am just staying home, there is plenty of houswork to keep me busy, plus I am just extra tired lately.

I'll check back this evening for sure and le tyou know how many trick or treaters we get tonight. It will be very windy and some showers from Noel so that may cut back on how many we get.

Kathy

Happy Halloween    ,
Okay I am just in shocked with DWTS results. I can't believe that Sabrina went last night. She was really good. Well today we are going to DH's work because everybody wants to see DS as Elmo. Then we are going home and getting ready to go Trick-R-treating for the 1st time with DS. DS new thing is calling everything Big Bird. He think that his Elmo costume is Big Bird:confused:  !!! Well have a great Halloween!! Talk to you later and I will post some pictures of my red monster too!!

My day will be a busy one. I am trying to get the upstairs cleaned and vacumed this morning. I am headed to DD school this afternoon for the Haloween festivities. Then it will be time for trick or treating. Even though my kids are getting older they are still both very excited. I will try to check in later and post some pictures. Jordyn is going to be Hannah Montana and Madison will be a witch. I tried to talk her into wearing her Princess Aurora dress, but she did not want to:sad2: She is getting too old I guess. She did tell I can not get rid of it though. Maybe she will take it on next years cruise:confused3

Kathy-We did not see that movie. My kids wanted to, we just never made it. We just found a cake in a book that looked like and igloo. Madison liked it so we added a polar bear and some penguins from Happy Feet.

Well I better go get some things done. TTYL

Hi everyone,
well I just took my girls (dogs) for their first time trick or treating.:lmao:
I had to go to the bank so I used the drive through and they always give dogs a treat at the drive through. They got really excited getting the treat. Then we went to the drive through at the pharmacy, which also gives treats if your dogs are in the car with you. They were really getting excited now, 3 treats in a row!!
Then I drove to the new McDonalds near home and bought 2 plain hamburgers. They could smell them all the way home. That was their first time at a burger place. As soon as we got in the house I opened the bag and unwrapped their first burgers. I gave them each the bread parts first, then the burger. I had 2 very happy puppies. Now they are napping.
Time for my lunch too,

Kathy

Lorna: Great job on the cake! That is so cool!

Lynn: Remember, we expect pictures of Elmo to be posted as well!:thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone. It is actually a very nice day here in Portland. Only partly cloudy with an expect high of 60 degrees. I am looking forward to going to one of the parks and taking a nice walk tonight!

Happy Hallowe'en!

Denise, I hope you and Wally will each be happy in your futures.

Lynn, I wish I could see your elmo! How are you feeling?

Lorna, those are CUTE photos.

Woo, are we still on for breakfast on Sunday, the 18th? I made my ressies at that Courtyard by Marriot on Orange Place.

Kathy, the mental picture of the dogs on that little trip is so cute!

Just back from the Tower of Terror Race. It rained 4 days out of 5, but at least it wasn't horrible hot.

Bruce is much better although still unable to lift anything, and thank heavens, the biopsy was negative. We're HAPPY!

Hope y'all have a great day!

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes!!!! Can't wait ... you're on the calendar! I even used INK! :rotfl2:

Hey Lynn ... don't you have a sonogram that you can scan and show us of our little Mojita Linda Wendy Woo?

Evening all:

Well hope everyones Holloween was safe and fun....just glad its over.....we just got a few kids.....maybe 20....very slow this year..its a little chilly out, but otherwise, a clear nite.

Lorna: great pictures.....the cake was really cute.

Well they say when it rains....so after Wally and I got back from our "court date", we decided to go out and grab something to eat....so we are on our way, almost there....we were at a stop light and some "crazy" guy rear-ended us!! Hit us pretty hard too. Luckily we were the first ones at the red lite..pushed us about 1/4 of the way into the intersection. :scared1: Well I felt the pain in my back right away, but was able to get out and call 911, then talked to the guy who hit us. Wally however, wasnt doing as well, his back was really bad, so when the police arrived, they called for an ambulance and took him to the ER. So we got to spend the evening in ER, never did get dinner...ok we stopped at Mcdonalds on the way home....anyway, Wally is doing ok, they treated and released him. His back and neck is still pretty sore, my back is still bothering me....but what a way to end the day.....
Ok, so we get home, I noticed one of the dogs, now has diarrhea a little spot by the door....so I say, well theres must be more somewhere, so I start looking..go in the dinning room. went to pick up something on the floor and when I stepped back...right into a huge pile of "yuk" :scared: ...so now the bottom of my shoe is full of it.....what a mess....anyway I figured starting today...only good things can happed...it was a 3 strike day yesterday...
Well thats my exciting news....
take care all
Denise:banana:

Oh my GOSH! Denise the sun sure didn't shine on you today, you poor things! I hope there isn't permanent damage to either one of you!

Denise,
that is terrible. Hope both your backs heal soon. backs are a bad thing to hurt. It seems once you hurt them they are never quite the same again, too easy to hurt again.

I had 120 kids , ran out of candy and turned off the lights of it would of been more. Minnie wanted to play with all the kids and pixie was afraid of them and hid when ever i opened the door.
I turned on the leg lamp in the upstairs window tonight.
I saw about a dozen people taking photos with their phones, one man knocked on the door just to comment on it, another woman called her brother to drive by and see it, many more comments too.

I am pooped now, will see ya in the morning,

Kathy

Good morning all,

well we are windy but nice out this morning.

Just a few house hold chores to do today then to work on mapping out campgrounds and dog friendly hotels between here and Oregon. I have 3 routes according to the weather at the time we go and 2 of the 3 routes I have got all the info I need, but now I need to finish a northern route for campgrounds and hotels an I will type it all up on the computer and be done with it. YEAH!!!

have a good day everyone,

Kathy

Denise, I think more than ever you both can use a little PIXIE DUST :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: ! Geez Louise! You're right ... when it rains it pours! But maybe now you have all the "bad luck" out of the way, right?

What did the guy that hit you have to say for himself when you talked to him?
