Plans for the weekend: Well, I have three games to referee on Saturday morning, and then the single adults class we teach at church are going to a local "fun center" tomorrow night (go-karts, mini golf, etc.).

On Sunday, Lisa and one of her girlfriends are going to the NASCAR race in Talladega, AL. Her friend works for a division of Pepsi and gets tickets to various events every now and then. The problem is, when it comes to race tickets, I DON'T GET ONE! But, they always have a good time going, and that is what is important!

Have a great one! Big presentation at 2:00 p.m. today, so I most likely will not be on anymore today.

Good Afternoon ,
Well went to the doctors this morning and everything seems to be okay . Today doing wash and dusting!! This weekend we are going to the Hospital on Saturday to see my grandfather and then Sunday we are going to take DS apple picking and that is it for us !! Well I am getting hungry for lunch and DS is going up the stairs so I guess he is hungry too. Talk to you all tomorrow. Have a nice weekend!!

Good Morning ,
Well it is another VERY HOT day here in October!! Today we are heading to the hosptial to see my grandfather and then we have to run to Home Depot for afew things. Tomorrow we are going to Applefeast and apple picking. Well that is all that is going on here today. Have a great weekend!! Here are afew nice pictures of DS at my niece's birthday party.

I go thome just in time to see the Magic at the end of the channel, I almost missed it.
It took 2 hours to fill out paper work to sell our investment house
Then since we were so close we stopped and saw our oldest son, too him out to Chili's for lunch about 2 p.m. then straight home again. got home about 5:40 p.m.
whaat a long day it was.

now to relax, maybe we will put a movie on tonight and unwind.

Hi there, Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It has been really hot here. Today it was 88. Kathy I think we are getting your weather. I am enjoying it. Today was the fire department open house. John had to work it. He does all the fire safety for the township and runs the fire safety house. Jordyn went and helped her dad for the day. Madison and I stopped by for a little while. I also took Madison to Toys R US today. She had 3.00 off coupon she wanted to use. Tonight we went to dinner with my parents for a belated anniversary dinner. Tomorrow we are going to a Harvest Happening at the park/farm. I don't know how long we will stay, because it is going to be really hot again. I wish we had a pool to swim in. I may get the sprinkler out for the girls to run through.

your welcome to ALL our HOt weather!! I am so tired of it!! we started gettng hot early this year and it is holdin gon longer than normal too.


Lynn, hope you all had a good time getting apples. i use to go and pick all kinds of fruit when we lived in Oregon. we had hundreds of orchards and farms around our little town. Most of them offered U-Pick of their produce. I would do gleaning. That is where you get all you can pick and you take 1/2 of what you get to an elderly person who cant get out. so everyone benefited from it. that was free for the picker.

Plus i would pay for U-Pic too. I froze, canned and dehydrated everything you can imagine all summer and fall. Loved the homemade fruit leathers.

well I don't know what we will do today. Probably not too much.

Good Evening ,
Well yestereday we spent the majority of the day at the hosptial visiting with my grandfather. My mom, dad and sisters and my uncle and aunt came too. He is doing okay . He fell and was lying there for about 4 days the doctor think so his leg muscles are very weak. We have to wait and see with more tests this coming week.
Wow a great time we had apple picking!! DS loved it!!! He loved picking the apples and eating them. We then walked to the pumpkin patch where DS picked a pumpkin just his size too. Then we walked around the country store and DS was happy with the Apple donuts they had. He could not get enough of them!! It was very weird to see people apple picking in tank tops, shorts and flip flops in the beginning of October. Hope you all had a great weekend.

I know exactly what you mean! It was in the mid-80s here today and supposed to be 90 tomorrow!! Hot and humid, then the rains come in to cool it down.

Well our computer is acting up.....so hopefully this will go thru...

Frist off: Wally wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent prayers and thoughts his way. He appreciates very much.

Was up and at my dads early today. He had the rest of his condo painted. So I made breakfast for him, then my sisters came over and when the painters left we helped him put everything back together. Wow, a lot of work. But the place looks good. He is 92 and lives on his own, so he just the the basic cleaning. So there were things that had not been cleaned in years....Plus it was another hot and humid day here too and three menapausal women working, my poor dad, we kept yelling at him to turn up the air conditioning. IT was actually kinda funny.

OK to all the the disney smart people...does Epcot have lockers? I have probably seen them, but it never "registered"....

Well not much else going on.....

Yes Epcot has lockers. lots of them.

as you approach the sphere where you must go left or right around it, hang a right. You will walk past a photo shop, then there are bathrooms on your right, the lockers are tucked back to the right of the restrooms.
They are hard to see from the sidewalk area but they are there.

They back up to the back of the photo shop you just walked by.

we are still hot and humid too!! 90 again today. we do have a cooling trend coming, only going to be 85 in a couple of days.

I need to do a little baking today, so I better get with it early before it gets too hot.

Denise, sorry to hear about Wally's dad. That's the tough thing about this 40+ age bracket - one by one we are becoming the "older generation". . . of course it does beat the alternative.

Lynn thanks for posting more cute photos- that little fellow seems to get bigger by the minute! And glad to hear you're doing well, too.

Kathy, is it a tough time to sell, or is Florida RE still doing ok? Things seem to be staying on the market for forever here.

Bruce has a date for his surgery - October 18th. They originally had it scheduled for when I was gone to Disney for the race. THAT wouldn't do! so then they suggested November 16th which would have interfered with my breakfast with Woo & Mutt. THAT wouldn't do either!

Well I am really excited about leaving!!!! I am all packed and tonight I just have been doing cleaning around here. So tomorrow nite I only have my family room and the bathroom that Wally uses.... Not a pretty place..

Kathy thanks for the Epcot info....I figured they had them and now that you said where they are, I do remember seeing them....thanks....

Well our weather is changing...it was about 80 most of the day and now its dropping. Actually right now it is really nice with a nice breeze...but by Wednesday its only gonna be in the 60's so thank goodness I'm leaving and getting 1 extra week of summer...

Denise, glad my directions made sense to you for the lockers.

You are coming at a great time for perfect weather. The said today our showers are gone and we have a cooling trend, which means mid 80's NOT mid 90's. Plus Epcot has their Food and Wine festival going on. There are mini portions for $1 to $4 for each sample size dish from each country. most have 4 or 5 selections. So go there hungry and eat your way around the worlds.

Sorry I haven't been around, but this weekend was very busy, and this week is going in the same direction.

I have 1 football game tonight, and then tomorrow I go to the doctor to have a portion of a toenail removed. Doesn't that sound like fun!?!

But, upcoming this weekend is the family reunion. You think the cruise has food, you should go to this reunion!
