Shell,
I have heard airborne is good but due to other medications I have to take I cant take anything accept excedrin without getting it through a doctor and most cold things wont work for me, I can use good old vicks or a vicks inhaler, that is about it. I just have to suffer through and be patient til it's gone.
At least it gives me something to grip about:lmao:

Hope you can fight off your cold before it sets in .

Let's hope so! Hey Bob ... how's MN? I sure hope you never have to go there in the middle of winter. That's a cold that no one should have to experience.

It has actually been very nice this week. A little cool last night when we headed out to dinner, but it was still comfortable enough that we walked about a mile around the city to burn off dinner. We went to Fogo da Chao, which is a Brazillian Gaucho style restaurant. If you aren't familiar with the term, it means a LOT of meat is brought to your table!

Going to see my brother and his family tonight right after work.

Lynn: Love those pictures of my Little Buddy!

Evening everyone:

Lets see whats new and exciting!!!!! Ummmm nothing....

Lynn: Drew is getting sooo big and he is just so darn cute.....Cant wait to see him next year.

Bob: I have been to MN in the middle of Winter....Its colder than Chicago and I hate the cold here....would not want to live there, no matter what they paid me.....but the summers are nice...

Kathy: Get better soon....

Nothing else, just gonna watch some tv and thats about it....

Take care all
Denise:banana:

Kathy, Hope you feel better soon!

Lynn - Drew is so big! We're not going to know him when we see him next.

No news here. Work is boring. B sees the specialist ( a special-er specialist than he was already seeing) on Friday.

Have a good night!

good morning,
well I am sitting here waiting to see a rocket launch. Since it will still be kind of dark it should show up from my house. I am also going to look at ron jons web cam, I think it is pointed the right direction to watch the launch.

Thats about all thats going on this morning,
have a good thursday everyone,

Kathy

Good Morning

I am glad that you all liked DS new pictures!! Well yesterday was 90 degree here and that is to warm for the September. DS slept alittle better last night. Well today I am off to Wal-Mart to get afew things and then off to the Carter's outlet to see him they have anything for DS to wear in his Christmas pictures. Well talk to you later!!

I keep telling myself that this thread will pick up ... we just need to get thru a few more months (not saying why :rolleyes1 ).

It is one of those crappy, cool, muggy nights here, but thankfully the weatherman says that we are going to have perfect, sunny 70+ degree days coming and staying for a while. Nana nana boo boo to some of you!

Tomorrow my niece turns 9, so we're going to my brother's house for cake & ice cream. She is a budding scrapbook artist so Aunt Michele (she doesn't know about "Woo") got her a good stash of scrapbooking materials.

DENISE: Did you watch DWTS? What did you think? I'm not seeing a stand out, but I think I like Helio best for the guys, tho Albert is nice to look at! Can't wait to see how the season unfolds. The first few shows are always slow.

LYNN: I think Wendy's on to something. "Mojito Woo" has a really nice ring to it for our new baby nana! You think Andrew will go for it? :lmao:

That's too funny, Woo! I'm hoping Lynn has a little girl - in which case, I think her name would need to be Mojita Woo. . . or Linda Mojita Woo . . .

morning all,

another hot one today here, sure wish the winter temps would arrive.

Hope everyone has a great friday.

anyone got plans for the weekend??

no real plans here, maybe a movie

Kathy

Good Morning    ,
Well it is a very cloudy cool day here in NY. Today DH work want to meet DS so we are going there for lunch. Yesterday all my motherhood maternity clothes for Disney came. DH was in his glory yesterday because he got his law mower at Sears;) ;) !! I get excited to go shopping or a new hangbag but to get excited for a lawn mower I don't understand:confused: !!! Well tomorrow we are off to my niece's 4th birthday party at the Little Gym and then after that we are planning to go shopping for a dining room set. Sunday DH and his father are painting my room. So our new house is getting there:). Hope everyone has a great weekend;) ;) ;) ;) !!

Any news from Pat and the Grand Baby:cloud9: :cloud9: ???

Shell,Wendy and Linda: That is funny with the names because Andrew and I were trying to come up with names for the little mojito or mojita last night. We agree on a boy's and the girls name is still up in the air:confused:  ? I will run the Mojita or Mojito:cloud9: :cloud9: by Andrew :rotfl: :rotfl: see what he thinks!!!!

Hi there, Today we are getting ready to head up north for the weekend. My aunt and uncle are taking the kids (and us to) on a charter fishing trip. My kids don't know about it. It should be a BIG surprise to them They will have a blast! :thumbsup2

Lat night we went to a pre season Detroit Red Wings game. This was Madisons first hockey game. She had so much fun! This mornig I went and worked out. Now I am just trying to get packed up for the weekend. The weather is suppose to be great:goodvibes Hope everyone has a nice weeknd. Talk to you all soon.

Lorna:banana:

Afternoon folks! I finally made it back home from Minnesota. Had a great visit with my brother and part of his family (he has 9 children).

I am worn out though. We decided to take a 5:30 A.M. flight home this morning. It seemed like a great idea last night, and when we finally made it home. But, at 3:00 a.m. central time this morning, I was wondering why I was so stupid!:sad2:

Four football games tomorrow, so I will be EXTREMELY busy and will have a long day on the field. But, I am looking forward to it.

Then, on Sunday, our choir is doing a concert at another church on Sunday evening. We actually have 3 or 4 concerts scheduled over the next two months, and I am looking forward to it.:dance3:

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!

Bob,
glad your back safely.
9 kids, wow I thought Greg's family was large with 7 kids but your brother has him beat.

Not much happening around here today, pretty quiet.

will check back tomarrow to see what is happening,

Kathy

WEll, let's see . . . Drew is obviously named for Andrew, so with the new one, it's your turn . . How about Lynn for a boy (my dad's name) or Lynda for a girl? I don't think Mojita is going to pass the in-law filter! lol

Kathy, wish you were here - two girl friends are coming over to scrapbook their one day disney trip ( 1st trip ever - trip of a life time) they managed 3 parks in their one day! And another friend, who lost her fiance on the day before Halloween last year, is bringing her knitting. You could come too!

Who else scrapbooks?

Oh. PS. B had his appointment with the "more special" specialist and we both feel much much better - not that his situation is better, but that we have a clearer understanding of what's happening, and now the doctors seem to have a plan. Thank Heavens.

Linda, you're really pushing for that "Linda" angle for our new banana, aren't you? Nope, I still vote for Mojito Woo. I know Andrew will be OK with it :lmao:

You could always just go with Woo when she's young -- very easy for a young'un to pronounce!!

Morning all,

Linda wish I was there, I need to finish a book from our last disney cruise and one for our carnival cruise. I want to do them before the Nov 07 cruise so I will be busy. I have everything set out in the spare bedroom, I need some more double sided tape and i will be set to go!! Hope to get it this weekend so next week I can get to it. Time just seemd to fly by and I am not getting it done.I did get some butterscotch brownies baked though so the week wasnt a total loss and spaghetti made.

well off to buy some groceries this morning before it gets busy and crowded.

catch ya later,

Kathy

Hi all...I am not sure if this is the correct post for new members to post for cruise meets: Nov.29 - Dec.6 Western Caribbean...My family and I are booked on this cruise...I will be sailing with my husband and two children (DD16 and DS 7)...I am also hoping to convince my brother and his girlfriend to join us...This will be our second Disney Cruise as we sailed on the Wonder in Oct 2006...Even though we still have over a year we are all really excited...Especially my DS who cried when we had to pack up and leave The Wonder last year...Was wondering if anyone else had children who would be spending time in the clubs???...I am not so concerned about my son making friends, when your 7 everyone is your friend...I am more concerned about my DD, it would be great if she could already know someone who would be joining her in the teen club....Wishing all of you a wonderful weeked...Jennifer

P.S. I am also a Scrapaholic...And there is nothing better than scrapbooking Disney Memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
