Bob: Hope you are feeling better- From your little buddy ;)

Tell my little buddy I said thank you! (Why do I feel like Skipper saying that to Gilligan?)

Bob, I hope your better today:thumbsup2

Kathy

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. It looks like I have something going on with my gall bladder.:headache: I am feeling better today, but some of the symptoms are lingering. I have been losing some weight, and they think that has caused a flare-up in my GB. So, now I get to go through tests and have a lot of fun!

Welcome:welcome: newMIL10 :welcome: You are already a Nana Head but just didn't know it.

I'm Tonya, my DH is Trey, our DS is Hunter and DD is Cassidy. We are all going to be on that boat next November come heck or high water. We, like Lynn, aren't going this year due to that pesky buying a house thing. I keep trying to convince my DH we don't need furniture, we need to go on a cruise. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better, and watch out for that CruiseMutt Bill. (J/k, have you washed your hand yet, bill?)

Anywho, have a great day.

The house thing is going, had inspections yesterday, now if we could just get that appraisal done ASAP.

Bob, Im sorry to hear that your GB is giving you fits. Thoughts and prayers your way.

Kathy, I'm glad your getting back to fighting form.

Lets see who else have I missed since I was gone. Cheri, Wendy, Denise, Lynn and LindaBabe. Have a great day.

Linda thanks for the info on the boxes. Just for that you get a  he he

Greetings and salutations to you all. :wave2: Thanks for such a hearty welcome to your board.

Kathy, per your post, my name is Doris. [Sorry, I meant to add my name to my last post, but plumb forgot.] I am still earning my ears.:earsboy:

I can't wait to meet you on the :boat:

P.S. This Disboarding is addictive.

Doris

P.S. This Disboarding is addictive.

Doris

Yes, and there is no 12 step program in the world that can help you once the addiction has grabbed you!

Welcome to our "unique" little group!

Bob, good luck with the tests. been there, done that!! Hope all is better soon.:thumbsup2

Doris, it is great to have a name to call you. Some how that didnt sound right?? Oh well, have a  that will straighten it out:rolleyes1

well off to take a nap, that really helped me yesterday to feel better so will try it again today.

Linda. I did get 4 more pages done this morning:woohoo: I am not framing at all. Just going with the natural cut of the photos, after all they are very old so people will just have to understand they are not perfect. That just adds to the "Charm " of the book. Ha H a!! That was the best I could do to convence myself.

Oh, Minnie was just barking at our sliding door outside so I went out because she doesnt bark unless she really has a reason and there was the BIGGEST spider I have ever seen!! :scared1: And we have some mightly big ones here.

I had a broom on the patio and thought i would squish the center of it with the end of the handle, although the spider was larger around but as soon as I hit it the egg sack on its back broke open and hundreds of little spiders were running everywhere.:scared:
So I ran into the laundry room and grabbed my trusty can of raid and blasted all the babies and the mother too. I used about 1/2 the can too!! I take NO chances. I hate big brown furry spiders!!! Then Ihad to clean off the patio so the dogs woudnt get all that poison on their paws and then perhaps lick their feet.

Now I do need a rest!!! Where is Spiderman when you need him??:confused3

Kathy

Ok I have to respond to the Spider thing. Usually when they are outside I let them go there way, I go mine. But you had great forethought to get the spider spray. I would have stood there with a broom smashing the little buggers, and then yelling at the dog to get back.

You are braver than I. In my previous marriage my husband found me on top of a cabinet with the spider in the floor (I was pregnant at the time, can that be an excuse for being so dramatic about it?) Either way, they are not my favorite animals.

Happy Afternoon and happy hunting Kathy.

Gee Whiz Bob,
I didnt see you volunteering to come and kill off the spiders:rolleyes1

At least I didnt hide, I defended myself!! :thumbsup2
I am well stocked with bug killers!!
You really get over run with them here.

Hope your feeling better tonight,

Kathy

Evening all:

Not much going on.....just finished dinner and cleaning the kitchen.

Bob: I really do hope you feel better soon.....if its your gallbladder...have an ultrasound done...xrays and upper gi's just dont work that well.....been there done that. And if thats what it truly is...surgery isnt that bad...they do laproscopy, same day surgery and back to work within a week. Best surgery I even had....I suffered for years with it....until finally I was having pain everyday, and that was the turning point....I finally had it removed. So best of luck to you. (see Bob, I really am a nice person).....:goodvibes

Kathy.....just kill the suckers....with whatever means you can find to kill them.

Hey Kathy, you are Spiderwoman. You are brave. I would be :scared: :scared1: . Ewwweewwew, specially with breaking her egg bag. Ewwweewweewwwww

 She could have been Charlotte and spelled stuff with her web and you could have been rich. Nope, only in fairy tales.

 Hello Bob. Good luck with your GB. My sister suffered and had her's removed with little or no recovery time.

Doris

good morning everyone,

Doris, I know it wasnt Charlotte, she and i have an agreement about showing up uninvited. My last name is Templeton, just like, You guessed it, Templeton the Rat:lmao: Just remember I only got it by marriage, my husband is the Rat of the family.:rotfl2: So he knows everyone in that story.

Pretty quiet again today, just hot and miserable here. UGH !

Tomarrow morning we are off to the flea market to buy some more luggage before our trip to Oregon. We gave our luggage to our DD when she came to visit, hers was old, so we gave her ours, now we need to get some new stuff.

Great excuse to get some new luggage!! The flea market has some great prices.

Have a great day everyone, it is FRIDAY !!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Kathy

Okay, I have to tell a story on Lisa. Not long after we moved into the house, a spider built a web between one of our shrubs and the house. It was one of the brightly colored garden spiders. So, when Lisa first saw it, she thought it was really pretty and had no problem with it. Well, one morning she goes out with the dogs and yells for me. When I get out there, she tells me to get rid of it! It seems this spider had enjoyed a wonderful diet of insects and had grown to be HUGE! I told I thought she liked it and she said she did when it was small and cute, now it needed to be disposed of!:lmao:

Thanks for all the well wishes. The symptoms have improved somewhat, and I have another appt. with my Dr. today. Actually, I didn't see him on Wed., but I saw one of his physician assistants. No offense to her, but I wasn't real pleased with the information, or lack thereof, that she provided. My doc is very good about giving me the straight stuff (we are friends as well) and letting me know what is going on. So, I set up an appt. to talk with him today. (Yes, Denise, you can be nice when you WANT to be nice!)

Bob, it sounds like Lisa used her womans perogative about changing her mind:lmao:

2 of our 3 houses her in Florida I found a rather large scorpion in the master bath, late at night!! I did call for help on those varments. The first time it startled me so badly I must of yelled extra loud because Greg and Peter both came running.:lmao: I never asked how they got rid if it. it was gone and that's all I cared about.

Greg is always finding huge snakes and scorpions in the houses under construction out here. Rattlers love to nestle in the coolness of the underboards and under the new showers. He has seen them long enough to stretch clear across both lanes of the road and as big around as his upper arm!!:scared1: :scared1: So to handle a scorpion was nothing to him.

Good luck at the doctor today Bob. Here's a  for ya.

kathy

Good Morning    ,
What a day we had ysterday me and DS. We left the house at 8:30 and did not return till 7:30pm. We went to the Mall and walked around for while and had lunch there. Then it was time for pedi for me and my SIL. Then I stayed for dinner (Chicken Parm) YUMMY!!! So today I have to do wash:laundy: :laundy: :laundy: and clean.
