Good Morning
Sorry I haven't been writing on the boards. Monday took DS to the Doctor's for his 9-month check-up. He is doing great. 17lbs 5ozs and 28 inches long. He can eat some people food now which he is loving !! Yesterday my cable was off and on so that left me with no computer. Today is suppose to be a high of 14 degrees!!! We are suppose to warm up to in the 30's by the weekend. We booked our next vacation to Disney World on Dec 15-22. We were not going to do it but it looks like this house thing is going to be a long progress because we haven't had anybody come in 3 weekend !!! DS 1st trip to Disney World !! Well I am going to to see what DS is getting into now. Talk to you later .

Anybody: I can't open the cookbook. I am having the same problem Denise is having. Is they a way I can open it???

Bob and Lisa: I am so sorry about Skipper!! It is very hard to loss a furry family member!!

I just wanted to say, that I did get in and get the receipes all printed out.

I looked over them and they all sound so good. I have a lot of cooking ahead of me. Thanks everyone who submitted the receipes for all us nana heads and a HUGH thanks to Linda for putting it all together so nicely.....

Hi everyone,
well I am sitting here waiting for the plumber to come and fix the shower.
The vet is running some extra lab work on Minnie because some of her renal counts were elevated. He said she may of eaten something bad for her or it could be the start of a kidney problem. He couldnt smell the bad odor we had smelled, which could be a good sign. Hopefully we will know something on Friday for sure.
That crazy dog now weighs 62 1/4 pounds!!!

It is nice and warm out today. No jacket, YEAH!!!

I am just trying to help keep us bumped up for the afternoon.

No jackets today!! At least in "finally" sunny FL. I'm very sorry for you all who have to deal with all that snow. I'm hearing on the news that you are having an awful time of it. I would love to see and play in the snow, but only on my "snow time frame" I'm going to send you all warm thoughts

Bob, I'm sorry about your dog. When I saw your little picture and in memory, it made me cry. I had to have my Quincy put to sleep after having him for 16 years and I will never forget the love that dog brought into my life. At my lowest he was there, at my highest he was there, and during my in between, he was there. I wasn't able to move his food/water bowl for weeks. I know he's waiting at the door for me to come HOME
I know what you mean about having a dog for a long time. We felt that Stephen should have a dog when he left home for college. We bought Bo a week before he left and 13 years later, he still has him.

Ok, LOST tonight. Who is going to watch it? I may need someone to explain it to me tomorrow. I really am LOST when it comes to that show, yet...I keep watching. I'm hoping that something will click in this thick skull of mine and I'll get it.

Good Morning All ,
It is another COLD COLD day here in NY. It is in the teens again today. Well today DS and I are being brave and going out in the cold to run afew errands and then held to the Mall for alittle bit with my friend Michelle and her twins. I did not get to see the cookbook yet but DH is going to print it out for me at work today so I can see it. Talk to you all later !!

I hope all of you are enjoying your afternoon. I have been sitting outside enjoying the wonderful warm sunshine. That really felt good.

While I was ouside relaxing I heard lots of sirens, fairly close by then a bunch of loud booms, kind of like something exploding, it was in groups of 2 and then 3 booms then about 3 or 4 minutes later it happened again, then more sirens. This went on for about 30 minutes. I have NO idea what it was but I am sure curious.

I made some carrot cake today which smells really good, but it needs to sit 24 hours for the flavors to develope. I will have to hide it before everyone gets home or it will gone by tomarrow.
