Hi everyone, We got hit with the ice storm last night, but not as bad as some areas. We still have power, but it is suppose to get really windy later. I guess we will see Not much else to report.

Lynn-Good luck with the house selling. When is your next open house? How is the housing market there?

Well fixed the old staple tonight, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. Got a little cherry pie leftover for dessert.

Good Evening
Well today was an interesting today. Had to do some errands. Went to Party City and got all Elmo Party goods 50% off for DS 1st birthday party. NY housing market is getting better then last year. The townhouse market is really good and that is what we live in!! Everybody keep your fingers crossed for us!! We are looking to move by the Spring!!! I don't know when the next open house will be. The whole house thing is stressing me out alot!! It gets annoying because we have to be out of the house the whole day and it is hard with DS. Well going give DS a bath. Talk to you tomorrow !!

Well we are getting snow now.....is powderey...and only about 1inch if that right now. We did have some ice yesterday morning....well just wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Good morning everyone,

Denise, hope you can get control of the doggies again. I'm sure it is hard for him now that DD is gone again. When she gets to Hawaii, will she be able to have her own place so she can have him with her?? I sure hope so, it is so unfair to both of them.

We have bad fog this morning. Dont know if Pat has it too, we are a few miles apart. But when the sun came up I could barely see the back yard fence.

Minnie and I both got up with head colds today.

Well tomarrow is suppose to be the day they release the cruises for the rest of 08, hopefully we will have a definate date for a western so we can be definate for our cruise, and get officially booked. at the end of the month.

Kathy-I will be on the computer first thing tomorrow to check out the 08 prices. I have a fake date for this Novemebr that I want to change to 08. I guess if the prices are way higher,then maybe we will have to go this year?!

I read on 3 different cruise forums and all 3 said tomarrow was the date they were going to release the rest of the 08 cruise information, although you cant book untll the end of the month. Twice it was moderators who posted it, so hopefully it is correct.
I am hoping it is true!!!!

Tomarrow we will know for sure!!

Evening all

Well made it through today.....what a crazy day. We are down one person and boy does that make a difference. Plus, I was off 2 days last week and it takes me 4 to catch up. Now our electronic record system is not working correctly, which is making my job take longer....just a plain nutsy day today. I have to work 8-12 saturday...so I get off at 11am tomorrow.

Watchig american idol.....this is usually the only part I watch....I love watching the people that cant sing and make a$$'s out of themselves.....

In the 20's here in NY this morning!! This is the coldest day we had so far this winter!! Yesterday DH was off and went to the Oral Surgrey for his tooth. Today DS and I are going to meet my mom for lunch!! She will enjoy that and she loves when her DS comes to her work!!! Well I will talk to you later!!

I just checked too, but they didnt specify a time to be posted, so I will check back at 8 a.m. and see if they are posted. After that I will check every couple of hours. Hopefully it will be this morning.
Lots of people on the forums are anxiously waiting for the list to come out.

Remember you only have to 2/1 to have your recipes to her for the cook book and you must submit a recipe to recieve the cookbook when she is done

Good Morning All:

I though I would post on both boards as some people are worried that we are frozen down here. Yah we are, but like Shell said my Grandmother’s house has power. My parents along with me, Trey, Hunter, Pike (our dog), Sassy (their dog) and the two crabs (bug and Cletus) are hanging in there. Its been a blessing to have warm food at night and a warm bed to sleep in. The highs here for the last two days have been in the 20’s or teens and the temps at night have been around 0. No need to have a refrigerator when God provides you one. The house is fully furnished so we aren’t really roughing it, like other people in the area. Some towns are without water because their wells are on electricity, while most of Nixa (south of us) is without power and water. We have had service crews from Massachusetts, Arkansas, Kansas and all over come to help out and we appreciate their help. When I drive by a service crew I make sure to roll down the ice covered window and tell them thanks for all their hard work.

Thanks for thinking of us, we expect to be out of our house for at least another week, if not more. I went to the house this morning and found out some pipes burst over night and we still have not electricity. So things are not perfect, but we are better than a lot of people.

Tonya, I am glad to hear that you guys are at least surviving right now. You are definitely in our prayers. Lisa and I have thought about you a lot over the last few days as we have watched the news and weather. Keep us updated when you have the opportunity!
