Hi everyone, Just wanted to drop by and say goodnight. Today I stayed in again, except to take DD to dance. I am feeling a little better. Still really tired. Tomorrow it is back to school for the girls. They are hoping for a snow day. The roads still are not all plowed so we shall see. I think they will have school. It is really pretty out. We have not had this much snow on the ground in a long time. It reminds me of winters when I was growing up.

Kathy-I hope you get to see some snow in Florida. I will post you a picture of all the snow here. I just need to down load them off my camera.

Greg-Great pictures of Yellow stone. We have never been out there. Maybe in the next few years. That would be a fun summer trip.

Shell-Wow it's only January 2nd and you are already traveling again. Be safe.

The picture is beautiful. I really want to do a trip to Yellowstone, as well as one to Bryce Canyon in Utah. I need to see some stuff in this country that I haven't made it to yet!

Good morning everyone,

we did get our cold weather today and it really feels good to me, of course I am not working out in it.

Not a whole lot going on today around here. The dogs have decided they dont like the cold outside. I have never seen 2 dogs pee as fast at they did this morning Especially Minnie , she pranced on her tippy toes all over the yard like she was afraid to get her feet on the ground

well off to get some milk and fruit, catch everyone later,

Wow! It got really cold last night -12 and that wasn't in Yellowstone, that was at my house!

Kathy, nice to hear your cooler weather finally arrived. I was watching on the news and it looks like the tomatoes, oranges and other Floridian fruit may not make it?

Bob & Denise, sounds like we should do a Nana heads cruise to Yellowstone in 2010!?
Yellowstone really is a nice place to vacation if you like wildlife and mountains. The geysers and thermal activity at Yellowstone are amazing.

Greg - Great photos. We've never been but have it on our "future" list when the kids are just a bit older. My sister just moved to Montana so we want to head there and then drive around the Western US and see all the stuff we've only seen in pictures. When I was a kid, we used to drive coast-to-coast to visit relatives in Southern California every second year so I've seen a lot of the country but the rest of the family has not been to Grand Canyon, the National Parks, etc.
Happy Birthday Wendy!!!!! Though it's a day late, it's straight from the heart. Geaux Tigers!

Today is Emily's birthday. She's four! She's four! She's four! She is very excited about that fact because we once told her she can't have bubble gum until she's four. And she NEVER forgot it.

Cold here today too. I think it's 14 right now with about four inches of snow on the ground. I'm ready for spring.

Greg- Thanks for sharing the photos!! Looks like fun! My husband is a photographer so we've spent a lot of time (mostly pre-children) in the national parks hiking and photographing wildlife and scenery.

Morning It is really cold out this morning. I think it was 3 degrees when I got up at 6:00. The sun is out and it is really pretty I have been trying to catch up on house work. I think I am about ready to take a break and sneak in a nap . My energy level is not back to normal yet. The girls are back in school today It is nice an quiet here. I will try to check back later.

It is darn right cold here! With the wind chill it's 18! The water in our bird bath was actually frozen this morning. This is the coldest weather we've had in 5 years! I don't like it...not one little bit.
Keep your snow! I changed my mind. This weekend it's suppose to be up in the 70's again.
