Well I think we are set with staying in Kissimmee the night before. We are all early risers except Rick but he will be excited and im sure it wont be to bad. Were looking at a few that are only 4 miles from Main gate. They have Days in Super 8 and all the usual hotels we normally stay at when away. The one Day inn Offered me a room at $29.00. I actually looks really nice. Huge pool. tiki bar( for me) . Playground for kids. I'm thinking for the price of these different ones and only one night why the hell not. This will give us a little more to spend on the ship. I still HAVE to get a Bahama mama and I have read that their are other MUST HAVE Disney drinks. This gives me the excuse to get a few more drinks.

Is this a separate gift from the Fish Extenders; or do we give everybody a regional gift?

I made a spreadsheet for all the men, women, teen boys, teen girls, tween boys, tween girls, little boys, little girls, and babies so that I can try to get appropriate gifts. I'm not sure my division points for teen, tween, and little were exactly right, but I just tried to think of how a nine-year-old would see themselves, and I made them a tween. I hope I can find some good gifts.

I guess I should make this also. I hadn't thought of that..a spreadsheet.

Hi Husband :wave2:
Hi cmom :wave2:

You know I like my sea days ... and both itineraries are pretty great! I think we hit on a couple of really good choices. Have I mentioned lately Joanna rocks?

Yeah, she is one special BFF! :goodvibes

LisaRae, we do one regional gift for about 10 dollars and we do a swap at the meet on the first day.

Morning Bubba, Woo, Mutt, Lorna, Cmom, Joanna, Okie:lovestruc

CMOM, don't worry about having to cancel those excursions, just think you can have that time to go to everyones cabins and feed the FE's while no one is around to catch you:goodvibes

Lorna, sorry to hear about your friend:hug:

Ummm Pam did we mention we share all spreadsheets here:rolleyes1

Yeah, that sounds good to me too!! Last year we stayed at CI&S in Cape Canaveral but I got a really good rate on Priceline and this year nothing good is happening. I just can't see paying $139.00 + taxes :scared1:

Spreadsheets of every man, woman and child???? Man, and I thought I was anal :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Lisarae, I take my hat off to you! :thumbsup2 BTW, check the Cruisemate List for information on the regional gift exchange.

In fact, everyone, all of the events we talk about on here can be found on the Cruisemate List! It's just a wealth of information when you get right down to it!

Speaking of "activities" ... who hasn't ordered their Nanahead shirts yet? Hmmmmmmm???????????? :confused3 You know I can check that kind of stuff and harrass you personally :rotfl2:

Our new travel agent/nanahead/jewelrysalesperson/defender of the faith....

THAT'S ME! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I book my doctors vacations also and some of my lia buddies and former co workers still call me to book for them:confused3 . I love traveling that I enjoy doing it even though I don't get paid. My way of giving back :goodvibes

I need some opinions please.

We will be visiting the resorts on Friday before the cruise. THe question is would you stay there in Kissimmiee and drive in the morning to the port or just drive to the port the next morning.

I have fround some GREAT prices online. Either stay a few miles down International Drive or 12 miles from the port. WE will be staying a t budget hotels so there is no difference there just wondering what everyone thinks would be better and why.

I don't know what your excursions were, but you can book them on your own for a fraction of the cost of DCL...Also, even if you do no excursions, you will still have a great time! You can still get off the ship and explore the islands by foot. Key West is all walking, GC you are let off in a town and you can venture further if you'd like and Coz, you are dropped off practicall in a mall.
CC is on a beach.

Don't fret, go with the flow and you will have enjoy yourself.

i have really got to get my list and learn everyones real names so I know who what you all are talking about.

Well gotta get in the tub be back in a minute

GOOD MORNING BFF-LA!

Good Morning BFF-NY
Good Morning Pam :wave2:
Good Morning Lisarae :wave2:

Yeah, DH just rolled his eyes when I showed him the spread sheet. He said, "Oh no, not again.":rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Hey Mutt, check out both ships when you get a moment and let us know which is better.

(Bubba, just for your reference, Mutt and I are also IMing each other at the same time we're posting, so it's kinda like we're having a conversation, k? :rotfl: )

Hey Mutt...Let me know also, What is your IM, I am Mjasp44

Both ships are pretty much top of the line with from what I understand great food. The cruise with 7 days includes their private Island and 3 sea days :goodvibes

Doesn't matter to me either one.

:goodvibes So lets think of all these attachments that can now be added to the vastly knowledgable cruisemate list....spreadsheets for FE gifts, pictures for Greg to figure us out (check), where we are staying on Friday(check), excursions (check), Joanna's number so she can plan our next vacation:thumbsup2

I absolutely agree. The first couple of cruises that we took, we didn't go on any excursions; just rented a taxi and went wherever we wanted. Around the third or fourth cruise, we found Cruise Critic .com and found out what the best shore excursions were and who to go through. We have never been disappointed. We've always paid half the price of the ship, and frequently been on the same tour with those who went through the ship. It is major profit for the cruise line. I'd rather pay the independent businessman.
