Yeah, it's finally going to be fall here this weekend. It was 83 this morning when I left for work and it will be about 96 today but they are saying it's going to be in the 70's by Sunday .

Kathy thanks for the help. I think I wrote my question wrong. We would have all day their after we get off the ship and drive over. We then would have a three hour drive back to my moms that night.

SO depending on how long it takes to get off the ship and how far the drive is we would really have most of the day. I'm thinking now that if we can get a CHEAP hotel we may just go ahead and spend the night again. That way we have more time in KSC.

Any one know if good CHEAP hotels by NASA that would be good to stay at but on the way to get back home?

Also we were looking at staying over at the port area the night before the cruise. I have found some great rates. Has anyone stayed at the Days Inn Cocoa? The man on the phone said it was 2 and a half miles from the port.

I just stoppped on my way home for lunch and bought the official bottle of sunscreen for this trip. Woo hoo, now I know we're getting closer!! We have our bananahead t-shirts and our sunscreen. All we need now is a cold drink in our hands and we can cruise!

Steph, I'm a civil engineer and DH is a supervisor over construction repair crews. Not exciting jobs but it pays the bills (most of the time... ) We're sailing with our 8th grade DD(14.)

I studied the Cruisemate list today, Trying to get to know everyone, it's a lot of folks.

What does everyone do for work? I work at a chemical plant, I'm an Environmental Specialist and DH has two insurance agencies.
