Yes...I can see it!!! It says 1 MONTH.....and blah blah days...but it says 1 month (yeah I know really closer to 2 )

Okie...Congrats on the new baby, but I have a quetion for you. How old is your niece that is the grandma?

Well I finally got our flights booked. Southwest from Jackson, MS. We'll have to drive over, but it's only about 1.5 hours. The flights from our hometown were way to expensive.

Thanks for the info on Cozumel. My excusion time was changed so no need to hang out at the pier.

As far as going to the MK on parade day just keep in mind, the parade will run all day long but it's not the actual parade. We saw it pass several times but there was no music. I felt so bad for the performers because they would have to just sit there in a baking sun not moving while they kept trying to get the shots right. Also all of Main Street will be closed down so you will not be able to walk down it or even see the front of the castle .

It's really that bad? We won't be able to see the Castle??? Maybe, we should just go to another park that day and do MK on the morning of the 7th. Our flight doesn't leave Orlando until 2:30.


What time does DME pick you up for your trip to Airport from Resort? 3 hours before? Maybe we could go to MK for a little while that morning, we'll be at the Poly and only a monorail ride away. I am trying to get BK ressies at Chef Mickeys that morning too.

Awww Steph...I know you really want to go to the MK, but if the taping is there, unless you are willing to go with the crowds, it WILL be crowded.

My suggestion is to either go and fight the crowds, the good thing may be that they all wll be watching the parade and you can go on Dumbo with your baby or go to another park, maybe he will like Animal Kingdom, I know 2 yr olds love animals, I don't know if you would like it that much though.

Someone asked if packing has started yet? Well lets see I booked this once in a lifetime trip 11 months ago. I then set two plastic bins next to my bed. The pile of thisngs to take are both higher then my bed and overflowing.

I keep finding goodies to take and have the boys run it upstairs to the pile. I cant believe they never even asked why it it there.

I sure hope to get their faces on camera when we pull up to the ship and tell them we will acturally get on her this time. Their even going to be wearing matching shirts with the whole family. They will be clueless.

The sun is actually out today!

Had to take Jess to school today because they're having their "Under the Sea" party today and she took a big ol' plastic sand bucket full of "Sea Mix." (Goldfish crackers, Goldfish pretzels & Goldfish graham crackers mixed with nuts & raisins and Swedish fish candies.) I think the bucket weighed more than she does!

Well according to the weatherman we have 2 summer days left then the weather will be changing to nasty cold wet rainy stuff

Not much going on here.

No packing yet, we have to buy suitcases before I can pack. Ours are in storage in Georgia with our furniture

October 11 this set aside for cruise shopping for us. That is the day the dogs are staying with the dog sitter to get aquainted for the day
On 10/25 they will stay again so we can do any last minute shopping, maybe catch a movie (matinee) some where too..

Thats about all thats happening here today.

So cmom I have to ask. If your kids are going to have on matching shirts and you say they will be "clueless" about the cruise, does your family OFTEN go out in public with matching shirts?

She is 43.....I'm 44.....confused yet??? She is my DH oldest sister's daughter....my DH sister is old enough to be his mother.....DH actually has a nephew that is only 1 year younger than him....got it ..

If you were feeling sad about the ship's condition, this will cheer you up. Seems like an isolated incident and I guess the reason you NEVER want to cruise the first sailing after drydock.
