I am going on the 11/29 disney cruise. This is our first time on this cruise. We have been to disney world a million times and wanted to do something different. Can anyone give me any information about this cruise ? I have 3 kids who will also be on the cruise ages 2,9,11. Any suggestions on things we should do ? Any tips. Is the boat crowded ?

Welcome nicolesm! Hubby and I cruised with Disney twice before kids and then we took DS on the 14 day panama canal cruise when he was almost 2. It was a wonderful trip. This will be his second cruise and the first for my DD who just turned 2.
The main cruise boards have a ton of information and I can PM you some extra links if you would like.

This thread can get moving pretty fast, but please shout if you have questions or feel free to PM.

I'm Greg traveling my my DW Janel and our 4 kids....Chayce (13), Nicole (8), Brayden (4) and Holly (2).

We're from Idaho and this will be our first cruise on DCL and we'll be spending a week at WDW after the cruise......also first time!

Nice and quiet today, thank goodness. Everyone else must be busy I'm surprised to see it this quiet on the board. I know, they are all packing up to go home, which is what I will be doing soon. Bought an new cars lately? You sure had Bob going with the pic you sent. Just one more reason for him to envy you.

I am Christine and will be traveling with DH Joey. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and second with the Nanas. They are a great group and make a great cruise even better .

I am Kathy, husband is Greg. Not the Greg who posts here, a different Greg. No kids wit hus, they are all grown.
The older kids have their own thread. Maybe your older kids would like to say hello there to get aquainted?

Bring extra swim diapers for your toddler, The Magic is getting a new spalash zone for the toddlers like the Wonder has. Very nice for the toddlers, but swim diapers required.

The ship really doesnt feel crowded accept by the Mickey pool. Everyone is spread out throughout the ship, so not that bad.
The shows are when you really realize there are alot of other people on board because the theater is so large. And it does fill up for each performance.

This is our 17th DCL cruise.
Many of us have cruised together before, so we have a lot of Disney knowledge here, please feel free to ask all the questions you may have.
someone will know the answer.

I need to get me a Hiccup identity.......I feel stupid not bein part of this stuff---I watch the Beverly Hillbillies too! And I'm po'ed that the people involved didn't ask me to join in....grrrrrr....the mutts wrath is legendary--just you wait!

We will be at WDW the week after also!
We figure if we are going to spend a whole day traveling to Florida we might as well stay a while

Evening all:

Well how is the weather around the states? It is just rainy and mieserable here......poor Jack hasnt been out since I left for work this morning...like around 7am....he doesnt like getting wet.....ya know.....cuz he's sweet.....he might melt!!!! But really the drive home was nasty and it hasnt let up yet......its been raining pretty steady now for a few hours. Hopeful this will let up soon.
