You never know, the silver-medal Olympic rowing team may get that cabin as a consolation prize......:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
(I'd hate to see where they put the bronze medalists!!)

OK I'm laughing at this one...Please SHARE the story behind it.

Shoot, I thought that was awarded to "participants" (the athletic equivilent to "Occupant" :rotfl2: )

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Touche! (I just can't think of a good come back that would be appropriate for the boards!!!!);)

Joanna ... Billy and Cheri always get stateroom 1079, which has now been christened "The Wilson Suite". Let's just say, there's no way you'll ever pass by it by accident or on purpose (check out a deck plan), and the coal shovelers are right next door ...

Hey ...Shell...Glad you beat Jeff...he'll say it was because he has a life and wasn't on =...yeah right, we know you just beat him.

I have to check out the deck plan.

Everyone makes fun of us because we have been in cabin 1079, not once, not twice, but THREE times! (Check out a map of the ship to see where it is.)

I tell them that we've been contracted by Disney to stay in steerage and row the boat. (You should see my arms!) Once in a while, passengers from the first-class upper decks venture down to our level to leave notes on our door about rowing slower so the cruise lasts longer...:rolleyes1

The cool thing is, once in a while we get to eat in the dining rooms and go up to Decks 9 & 10 like the regular passengers!:lmao:

Oh don't worry -- he's already starting to feel it -- we were discussing it last week. . .

Maybe if we can just WALK to Port Canaveral, it'll be affordable!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey, why not sell one of your Mom's cows? That could bring in some cash ...

ROTFLMAO

But I may be down there with you! We booked a category 12 GTY on our Wonder cruise we did in April and they upgraded us to a cat. 10 on deck 1.

Well, I was beside myself, the thought of being on deck 1...well it was a 3 night cruise and I we felt we'll just suck it up for 3 days and deal with it...GUESS WHAT???? WE LOVED IT DOWN THERE! I can't believe I'm saying it, but yes we did. I thought we would be the only people down there...but guess what it is just like any other deck. The only thing I didn't like is we could only use the mid ship elevators. So maybe you will have company down ther this trip and one by one...the nana's will make it down to deck one and we will take it over since there isn't an abyndance of rooms down there.
Imagine that...Bar set up iin the hallway for all Nana's to enjoy LOL

I saw deck one a few times (I get motion sickness and usually run for the infirmary and the free meclazine as soon as I board). The last time they were just installing the new rows in The Wilson Suite. NEW ROWS! Thats why my category 6 is so darn expensive. I'm in favor of keeping the old, broken in rows and saving a few bucks. Besides, the new ones make a bit more noise and I can hear a very faint swooshing sound from the verandah in the evenings....very annoying. Btw, Cheri.... I dont mean to embarrass but I found a new soap thats guaranteed to remove even the most stubborn coal stains---I didn't wanna say anything but Brendon and the staff in Palo were a bit taken back by the dirt under the fingernails thing.

If that oratory didn't spur you into booking RIGHT NOW just to be with the kind, compassionate nanas, ....nothing will. We love....tough sometimes, but we love.

Book, woman...book! We'll have a community blender this year and a nearly full bar....thats gonna save ya plenty.

Wow, that woke someone up
Hi BFF:wave2: off to graduation ... again ...

See Shell, I'm not the only crazy one!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I suppose if there was a Deck One Bar, that would lure them to our lair!:lmao: :lmao:

I figure all those trips up and down the steps (along with the rowing) earn me extra food & drink without the guilt!!!!:thumbsup2

Well, those new Rows got you to all the sights of the Eastern Caribbean didn't they -- Orient Beach, liquor store in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Castaway Cay. . .and the new speed controls on the new equipment helped make sure it was a seven-day cruise instead of a five or six day!:rotfl: :rotfl: (The old ones were always sticking on "full speed ahead":furious: :furious: )

That's great news about the soap! I just got the last traces of coal off my hands and nails a couple weeks ago!:cool1: :cool1:

Morning Nana's!!

Made it back from camping with my boys! Had a good time and the kids had a blast.

Found out that Brayden loves to fish.....sort of?! We weren't near any water this time, but I tied a plastic film canister on the end of his line so he could practice casting across the ground......he probably spent 3 hours pretending he was fishing (it was a kodak moment) :rotfl2:

I about froze to death last night though! The furnace in our motor home kept going out and wouldn't re-start. (I just had it filled with 20 gallons of propane, so I know its not out of gas)

The kids stayed warm enough because they were in their -15 rated sleeping bags, but I was sleeping on the queen bed in the back with just a sheet and comforter on me! BBRRRR!!

I'll have to take it in when I get back from Fiji and get the furnace serviced!

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!! :thumbsup2
