Hey Kim, did you get any of the crazy weather yesterday. VA looks pretty bad right now.

What was up with the weather yesterday. I saw a bunch of you with freezing temps. It was 90 here yesterday but it's going to drop about 20 degrees tomorrow. Good thing is I think some of your guys will be getting our hot weather.

Good morning everyone,

going to do lots of cleaning house today and wash all the bedding and such. I am about ankle deep in dog hair today, so time to get busy cleaning.

Thursday we are heading to the coast for 4 or 5 days so I wont have internet after Thursday for a few days.

I do have a question for anyone who has been to Nassau before.

I cant remember the name of the hotel next door to Atlanits where people reserve a room for the day so they can get access to the pool area at Atlantis?
A friend of mine wants to know. Anybody here know the name?

I really would like to do a private charter in GC. It seems the best way to go to Stingray City. I have contacted Captain Marvins, here is some of the pricing:

Short excursion goes to the Stingray City sandbar plus either the Coral Gardens or the Barrier Reef for snorkeling; half-day trip goes to the sandbar plus both snorkeling stops).
Short Excursion: Monday through Friday from 8:30-10:45;
11:15-1:30 or 1:45-4:00
Half-day: Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM or 2:30-5:30 PM Sunday from 9 AM until noon or from 1-4 PM

Howdy 'Nanaheads.
I'm back from my long day with the third grade. I volunteered on a field trip today to a historic mansion locally (owned by Henry Clay Frick) that has been magnificently preserved. It was a great trip. The kids were actually great. They asked good questions and really were into the "learning" part of things.

Got to ride a school bus with 45 third graders both ways (about an hour each way). Scary scary stuff but the carsickness far outweighed the craziness of the kids.

Only downside was we had the grouchiest docent touring us through the house. I had a group of eight kids who were well behaved and asked good questions. This crazy old woman ripped into them in the first five minutes about not touching things (they hadn't even entered the house yet) and keeping quiet (they were). Set a very bizarre tone for the day. She ended the day by telling me she thought it was "over their heads." Couldn't take it anymore so I ripped into her telling her she clearly was either uncomfortable with or scared by the kids and never was able to focus on the tour and helping them learn. They learned in spite of her grouchiness.

Anyway it was a great experience and so much fun to watch your kid interact with her peer group. Way fun.

Good evening, Hope every one had a good day. I actually went to work today. I filled in for a friend who is on vacation. I have not worked since November I am hoping to fill in for a maternity leave this fall. I also hope to pick up some hours this spring and summer.

Okie-I hope your test went ok today.

Christine-We are still undecided about Grand Cayman. We went to StingRay City in 04. The kids are not thrilled with the idea of going again. We were thinking of going to 7 mile beach. I do think we will be swimming with the dolphins in Cozumel.
