We would DEFINITELY be up for that!!!

Us too. :cool1:
We prefer winter like Greg said the weather can be really humid in the summer. I was just trying to think about all those nanaheads with teens who cant miss as much school. Summer and spring break are more expensive too.

Guess when they actually release itenaries for the new ships we will just have to try and pick a date and go for it!! Just leave as much time as we can for people to save and plan for it.;)

I am hoping for a few new ports!!!

I'd be up for a Nana cruise on the new DCL ships. (not sure I'd want to go during the summer though?)

Going from 100 degrees in Idaho to 100 degrees + humidity in the caribbean really isn't my idea of a vacation. :lmao:

No worries Greg.We will just make YOU walk the plank into the nice cool ocean to cool you off:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well I'm stunned!

I thought Disney would be all talk, but look what arrived in my mail today!

Now I just need to figure out what to do with them?

Janel says we should give them a second chance, but I don't even want to think about going back yet! :sad2:

Look to see when or if they expire first.
Then just hang on to them for awhile. No need to rush into anything.
I agree with Janel. Wait until some of the bad taste is gone, then you may feel different.

if nothing else, you can use them to hop from park to park in one day and do all the roller coasters or thrill rides that were fun.
Just dont go near a holiday if possible. Be there at opening for the park and use fast passes.

I love all theme parks and have been to all of them more times than I can count. So I know your situation was highly Unusual.
And they have done more for you with those passes than I have heard of for most people.
My son use to work in guest relations, so I have heard many stories of things gone wrong and what was done but nothing as bad as you had. You were just the lucky one this time:rotfl2:
They probably heard how you were going to have an innocent sweet lady walk the plank and not knowing it got cancelled they sought revenge for her:lmao: :lmao: I understand she has some pull with them.

well the sun finally came out but its still cold outside. So we are inside.
I did get grocery shopping done and talked with both sons on the phone which was nice. Other than that nothing is going on around here today.

I bought a nice rotisserie chicken today, so not cooking tonight. YEAH!!
Nothing on TV so I may put a movie on tonight.
Of course I dont have a HUGE TV with a SOUND system like some people, but I iwll survive i guess.

Actually we had that in our house but sold it when we moved.
Whenw emove back we will buy a new system again::yes::

got to run, will try and stop by later everyone,

Kathy

Brantley ... check your email. I'll send you info on the RCCL we're doing in November. Maybe you'd be interested! So far, including airfare and hotel in San Juan, we are saving $902 over a 7-night DCL!

Thanks for the info Shell!!!! That looks pretty good. We are still not sure about what we will do this year. The only vacation we did in 08 was a week at Holden Beach, NC and a long weekend to Gatlinburg. Had to tighten up a little....

Hopefully things will pick back up and we can get back at it!!!

:cool1:

OMG Brantley that 's funny. Even though we aren't THAT bad, I definitely can see a correlation! :joker:

Staci's mom sent us that. You remember, they are from Davidson, MI right near Flint.

We were going to the store the other night and it was about 10 degrees. Staci said if we would have had some snow on the ground, she would have felt like she was back there again!!!:lmao:

I know what you talking about Greg!!!!

I tell you what, I will PM you my address....you send me the tickets and I will report back to you on how things are going at WDW now. Then, if all is well, you can go again and feel better about it!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kathy

Hi Kathy,

They expire in 2030, so they're probably no good to me........I wasn't planning on going back until 2031. :lmao:

Brantley, I'd be more then happy to let you have them, but Disney imprinted our names on the tickets so only we can use them! :sad2:

I can't even sell them!

Sing with me "I'm leav-ing on a jet plane. Don't know if I'll be back again..." Dreaming :beach: Greg, that cruise is looking better and better.
:flower3:

I agree...lets go:goodvibes

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!

Whew, it's finally safe to post here now that the Insane Nana Postings have diminished! Can actually SEE conversations! ;)

So I'm curious, of everyone posting on this board, how many are actually going on this cruise?

Hi Shell:wave2:

We have no idea yet...we cancelled the halloween cruise we were booked on and are hoping to be on this one instead but really have no idea. The CN$ is just too low right now for us. The girls beg us all the time to go again and now that Kierra got the ok to travel I am sure we'll go sooner or later...

Wow that's a big difference! What ship are you sailing on? Did you book your airfare through RCCL?

Jeff, Pirate night is the day your at Nassau. Sorry I dont remember the order of the shows. You can probably find a 3 day Navigator and see the sow order. When it says Hercules, that is the night Toy Story will be. I know there is a thread at the top of the discussion forums page that will connect you to Navigators.

Shell,
we want to do this cruise but wont know until the last minute. It depends on the job situation and where we are living at the time.. We have ot make sure we can pay for the 2010 first and thats looking pretty good.
We do have a few people who have NOT been on a nanahead cruise who are booked. Bev, Alicia, Darrell.

I say we try and think of a nanhead reunion cruise on one fo the new ships in 2011 or 2012 and see if most can make it. Give everyone 18 months to 2 years notice so they have time to plan and budget. With so many having kids in high school by then we may have to think summer cruise so many can have the chance to come?? Its just a thought:thumbsup2

Kathy

That's a great idea...I can't wait to see the new ships:thumbsup2 Not so sure about the summer though...

Hey everyone!

I've been on DCL ever since I purchased tickets to this cruise in May 2008! I just now found this thread!

I have been reading a lot but still have lots of questions that maybe you pro's can answer. But, I'll save that for another time. Just wanted to say HELLO!!

My DH & 2 DD's will be going - they will be 5 & 7 and are SUPER excited. We will be soon making a count down calendar. I've already got ideas for door signs so I think I've got a good start.

When I get some time, I'll have to go back and read some of the past threads to catch up.

315 days to go!:cheer2:

Hi! Welcome! :beach:

My name is Jaime and our dd's will also be 5 & 7 for this cruise if we make it:goodvibes

Hey Bro! LOL

If they don't expire...Give them a shot again. How many days are they for? Maybe when you go to see the shuttle it won't be as crowded and you can go for just one day and then go back another time in a year or so.

I agree:thumbsup2 If the kids have anytime of late April- early May that's always a great time to go...crowds are low and the weather is great! The best part is when we got back the snow here was melted and Spring started! It was a great way to end a long winter!

I'm not sure when or if we'll use them. :confused3

Since they don't expire until the end of 2030....I'll just put them in the safe and see what happens in the future.

We're headed back to Florida in August to see a shuttle launch, but I'm pretty sure we won't be going to WDW. (kids want to do Discovery Cove again) :goodvibes
