Were you really mean to him on the cruise or something???? :rotfl2:

He has not been on here as much and has actually switched cruise lines for next year?????:confused3

:lmao: :rotfl2: No, she and Greg were fabulous on the cruise. We really enjoyed sitting with them at dinner....even though they probably didn't get to enjoy dinning as much with all of our kids acting up being loud and causing problems. :rolleyes1

We did re-schedule DCL for Dec. 4 2010, but we also booked the Oasis of the Seas for Sept. 25 2010.

Its extremely rare for our family to do the same vacation twice, as we like to experience new places and new activities each year, but our Hawaii vacation 4 years ago (which my kids had voted our number 1 vacation till the cruise) slid to the #3 spot as our Nanahead cruise this year took first place!

One of the cruises we have booked for 2010 will get rescheduled, but I'm not sure which yet. I know Chayce is already dying to cruise or do anything with Skylar and Christian and Nicole talks about Jordan, Jessalyn and Madison all the time and the adventures they had on the ship. :thumbsup2

We warned you that at least the kids would love the cruise and want to go back.
Just so you know we loved dinner, kids and all. It really brought back a flood of memories of our own kids when they were that age. We loved it. Kids always brighten the day, even when they are tired or grumpy. Thats what being a kid is all about sometimes.:thumbsup2

We both just love the stubborn look on Holly's face. That girl is ready to take on the world and the world better look out!!:lmao:

when you reschedule your cruise you need to do the 1020 TA cruise on 9/18 with us. 2 whole weeks:thumbsup2 You can get a nanny for the 2 weeks and have a 2nd honeymoon:love:
Or just get all the school work done before the cruise, after all school is just getting started, so they wont miss as much. Have the older 2 promise the teachers they will write a report on the historical stuff they see on the cruise and by then all the kids will be busy in the clubs, so you'll still have alot of adult time to enjoy.

See, now its all worked out for you guys, so nothing to have to figure out later. Save the Oasis for when the kids are older. Stay with DCL so they can have a great time again:rolleyes1

Ok, sales pitch is over for now:worship:
Thank goodness.
It wasn't your fault?? hmmm :rolleyes1 I heard all these stories about you bribing the authorities with your pieces of gold...
I am INNOCENT
Just ask me and i will tell you.;)

You know me, I am no trouble maker:rolleyes1
Let's see....

First, Kathy claims she is innocent....

Then Dawn, who was along on the cruise, offers some evidence that perhaps Kathy was causing trouble on the cruise....

Then Kathy attempts to claim her innocence again, but only offers herself as a witness to her own innocence......:confused3

Kathy, I am telling you to plead the 5th!!!!! Say no more!!!!!!! It's not looking good for you!!!!
Will you be my lawyer and take up my defense if i plead the 5th?
I pay with home made cookies.:rolleyes1

The rain let up to a sprinkle so I got the girls out for a short walk around the park. When I got to the front they have a drainage pipe from the road that runs into a pond where picnic tables sit around and it drains into a small area and goes under ground. It trickles out.

It was gushing muddy water, the pond had over flowed onto the ground and pushed a huge pile of rocks, sand and small gravel that lines the driveway out into the roadway with gushing water running down our roadway around the park until it hit a drain culvert where it spilled into it.
It was almost filled to the top with water. They are several feet deep and empty most of the time.
It you could see the area you wouldnt believe we had enough rain to create that amount of water power to push all that rock into the road.
It was amazing to see. Its gushing out of the pipe so hard it shoots about 6 feet straight out before dropping to the pond.

So of course the pups wanted to go and investigate it but I pulled them away and we had to walk through a few inches of water even off to the side.

This is an exerp from Mens Health. I thought it was interesting.

Any burger lovers out there??

Each year Americans eat about 40 billion burgers, which means that each of us downs nearly 150 of them. Choose better burgers, and you can save 10 or 15 pounds over the course of a year.

To get you started on your own burger war, we’ve compiled a list of the seven greasiest patties ever to be sandwiched between two buns. But because we understand you still need your burger fix, we’ve thrown in five of our favorites that you can eat with relative impunity (along with a delicious burger recipe at the end of this post).

Chili’s Smokehouse Bacon Triple-The-Cheese Big Mouth Burger with Jalapeno Ranch Dressing
2,040 calories
150 g fat (53 g saturated)
110 g protein
4,900 mg sodium

You know this burger's in trouble when it takes more than 20 syllables just to identify it. If you think the name’s a mouthful, just wait until the burger hits the table. You’ll be face to face with two-and-a-half day’s worth of fat — a full third of which is saturated. To do that much damage with roasted sirloin, you’d have to eat about eight 6-ounce steaks. It’s nearly three days’ worth of saturated fat.

T.G.I. Friday’s Cheesy Bacon Cheeseburger
1,590 calories
unknown g fat
unknown mg sodium

Although Friday’s is mum on the fat and sodium, it takes only one number to realize that this burger suffers from bigger-is-better syndrome. T.G.I. Friday's average burger has 1,250 calories, and their appetizers are some of the toughest in the country to swallow, calorie-wise, as we've shown with this America’s worst appetizers list.

Red Robbin A.1. Peppercorn Burger
1,440 calories
97 g fat

There’s hardly a burger on Red Robin’s menu that contains fewer than a thousand calories. What pushes this particular burger to the position of worst — aside from the gratuitous use of cheese and bacon — is the bed of fried onion straws wedged between patty and bun. Now we’re beginning to understand why, while researching the story 16 Secrets the Restaurant Industry Doesn’t Want You to Know, it may have taken Red Robin so long to come clean about the impact of its burgers.

Denny’s Double Cheeseburger
1,540 calories
116 g fat (52 g saturated, 7 g trans)
3,880 mg sodium

Add this to our ever-expanding list of the Trans-Fattiest Foods in America. (This burger has more than three days' worth of the stuff.) In fact, with as much saturated fat as 52 strips of bacon and more sodium than 21 small bags of Lay’s potato chips, this burger also belongs on the salt-packed list of 20 Foods Your Cardiologist Wouldn’t Eat.

Dairy Queen ½ lb. FlameThrower GrillBurger
1,140 calories
82 g fat (27 g saturated, 1.5 g trans)
1,940 mg sodium

Regular consumption of the FlameThrower will torch any hopes you have of losing weight. This potential aortic uh-oh contains 60 percent more calories than the Bacon Cheddar Grillburger and more than twice as many calories as DQ’s own Double Hamburger.

Hardee’s Two-Third Pound Monster Thickburger
1,420 calories
108 g fat (43 g saturated)
2,770 mg sodium

Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. take a misplaced pride in their shamelessly caloric approach to everything they put under a heat lamp, which is probably reason enough for some to find another place to eat. Need more motivation? Many of their burgers break the perilous 1,000-calorie barrier; their worst bun-buster has nearly 75 percent of your entire day’s calories and as much fat as a dozen Taco Bell soft tacos.

Ruby Tuesday Bella Turkey Burger
1,057 calories
65 g fat

The scariest part about this burger is how completely harmless it sounds: a slice of Swiss melted over sautéed mushrooms and ground turkey. Yet somehow Ruby Tuesday manages to slick it up with as much fat as five Baby Ruth bars. The kid’s version of this — the Turkey Mini — has an astounding 893 calories, earning it the No. 7 spot in our list of the 20 Worst Kid’s Meals in America. (To find out what’s best (and worst) for your kids at the nation’s big restaurant chains, check out this revealing report first.)

THE EAT THIS! BURGER HALL OF FAME

DQ Original Burger
350 calories
14 g fat (7 g saturated)
680 mg sodium

Wendy’s Quarter-Pound Single
430 calories
20 g fat (7 g saturated)
870 mg sodium

Burger King Whopper Jr. w/o mayo
370 calories
21 g fat (6 g saturated)
570 mg sodium

McDonald’s Quarter Pounder
410 calories
19 g fat (7 g saturated)
730 mg sodium

In-N-Out Protein-Style Protein-Style Cheeseburger
330 calories
25 g fat (9 g saturated)
720 mg sodium

Jaime, we saw this on the boat. I thought that it was very slow getting started but I hung in there and it got better. What did you think? (If I had been at home, I'm sure I would have moved on.)

We actually decided to wait...we bought tickets for new years eve to take the girls but it's 3-d and I'm not sure if Alicia will keep the glasses on:confused3 If it's slow going maybe we will see something else.

NICE PICTURE DAWN!!! Besides you Christian, Elizabeth and Skylar is that your daughters? You all take nice pictures.

Yes Joanna, I have Elizabeth, Stephanie in front of me, David, Sam (Stephanie's husband) Skylar, Christian and Sarah.

Nice photo Dawn!

Did you guys have a good Christmas.

I asked Chayce to ask Skylar when he called yesterday, but he said he forgot to ask.

Yes, Greg, we had a great Christmas! Got lots of toys to play with! And you? Did you enjoy getting to open your present?

Hello Nanas!!!!

We're busy here, still trying to break Coki in ... she's the tasmanian devil with angelic eyes. Man, were we fooled!

But oh, you should see how she and Duesey play and do everything together! The best part is they have to be touching each other when they sleep. You'll look over and he's resting his head across her back or she's spooning him. :lovestruc

She does have a tendency to chew things ... like, um, furniture. BUT we have that nipped in the bud (crossing fingers, knocking on wood) by spraying the items she likes with mouthwash. That seems to do the trick.

Mutt and I have been fighting a terrible cough/flu/cold for the past week. He started getting it Monday then was kind enough to pass it on to me as my Christmas present. Bless his heart. Payback's a b****. So we're on heavy duty antibiotics ... anything to get over this crap!

Gotta run ... everyone be good ...

Hugs & Kisses from The Woo and Da Mutt

Hi Joanna, you've been pretty quiet lately, is everything ok?

Hi Denise, hope your dad will be ok. Enjoy the company.

Hi Shell,

sorry to hear you guys have that crud. There is alot of it going around.
Do the kids snore??
Our snore in harmony and its hilarious:lmao:
Take care and get better soon.

Hey Shell!

Hope you guys feel better soon! Can't wait to see pics and videos of Coki and the Dues!

Our rain has finally let up for a few hours. The next storm is not due until later today. YEAH!!! I am so sick of the rain already. Winter is just beginning.
