Those guys have been so chatty on the 08 board it took me forever to respond to all the posts, plus I had Shell texting me and Jeff, Bob and Shell sending me PM's right and left.

I'm checking in, but have to leave and check water flows today.

Yesterday we had a family (in their canoe) get sucked into our "Great Feeder" inlet off the river and one of the children had to be airlifted to the hospital.

These are the situations I dread each year as water master!

Hello!

Just checking in here before heading over to 08. Quiet here.

We've been out in the pool for awhile. The pool is 91 degrees. To me, it's perfect. It still feels refreshing but it's not brrrr when you get in. I don't enjoy the brrrr.

Now I know those people arnt chatty over there
If you think its chatty now, wait until the last 3 or 4 weeks before the cruise Last time it was nothing to post 40 pages or more a day Just ask Dawn and Melanie, they remember how it was.


These boards can drive you batty. One time I was posting for 3 7 day cruises and 2 3 day cruises all at the same time. Luckily the 3 day only had a few people each


Guess I will forgive you for awhile, but I will have the whip on standby, so be afraid, be very afraid

Hi dawn,
nice to see someone popping in this afternoon.

I am enjoying nice 80 degreees right now, so the windows are all open and just a small fan blowing to circulate the air, very nice.

Soon it will be too hot, so I am enjoying it for now.

Puppies had an extra good walk today. after the walk I let them sit outside on the loungers and enjoy the fresh air and small grassy area while it was shaded, then I took them to the 10 acre field for 15 minutes and found 3 big sticks to throw for them.
They dont retrieve the sticks, because who ever gets it runs away because the other dog chases them and will hold the other end. They play tug o war and keep breakingit as they both run holding it at the same time.

By the time they get back to me it is just a twig

But they love it and its good for them to run.
would have done it longer but the meds I'm on for a few weeks says to stay out of the sun, so it makes it hard ot exercise them during the day.


Now they are sleeping peacefully while i have some lunch, then I need to fold the laundry and put it away.

i miss our pool. nobody has them here, too cold most of the year. The few that do have them are inside pools. In florida all the pools are outside at hotels, here the few who have them are enclosed. Pools are a special day if you go to them since there are so few of them. Guess thats why I never learned to swim I just play in the water, but i do like to do that.

Sorry Greg but I'm NOT Elmer. I get into enough trouble just being me.

I have had a few PM's with people asking me who it was and I told them the truth I dont know?
He sounds like a jokester to me but if he is really for real I dont want to hurt his feelings. So I post like I do to everyone else.

I think it is someone who maybe crusied with us last year and isnt going in 08 but is teasing us.
Or it could be a real family who have a strange sense of humor?

Or worse yet, they could be a family of rednecks I mean there are rednecks and then there are hillbilly rednecks.

I know some people who talk like he writes but it isnt them, they dont know how to work a computer and they have 8 kids, not 9.

Shell thought it might be my husband and I do agree he is a big jokster and this would be right up his ally, but I havnt seen him post at all.

we sit next to each other on our own laptops and he goes to RV sites, and car sites, web cams for cruises and he will lurk on the 08 board a couple times a week. I have watched him like a hawk after Shell wrote me but I havent seen him posting at all.

He has never liked to post. I had to bug him to death to get him to post 3 times last year. So if its him, he has fooled me too.


Elmer hasnt posted in awhile, so we will see what happens, but I swear to you it is NOT me!!

When we were in Vegas Christine told me everyone was thinking it was me, but it isn't me either?! (I wished I had thought of it if it really is a joke though!)

Based on the information given I'm leaning towards it being a joke myself.

To have 9 children with the ages that he says would mean they would of had their first child at age 16 or less?!

Also if they won their cruise in a raffle I'm sure the winner would have gotten only one cabin....if he's bringing his 5 younger children he would need two cabins like us or the bigger Disney suite....I find this highly unlikely!

Also, like you mentioned, the way he talks (posts) leads me to believe he wouldn't know allot about computers or even how to use one to find us on the DIS board?

Like you, I'm not ready to dismiss them as a hokes, yet, because its not beyond the scope of possibility.

Personally, I was going to ignore the whole thing. I'm with the fact that if he's that illiterate he wouldn't be that computer savy to be on the disboards.

well we have some interesting ideas about Elmer.

Maybe this could prove to be a fun thing? By the time of the cruise we will have to know one way or another.

as far as having a baby around 16, unfortunately that is very common the past 20 years or so.

My oldest had a baby when she was 16, thats why I have a grandaughter old enough to graduate high school this year. So that can happen.
My MIL married at 17 and had her first baby before her 18th birthday and she had 7 kids.


well I guess we will all have to wait and see what he says when and if he posts again.

I still think it someone from last year just pulling our leg and soon will say surprize, do you know who I am?? We had some real characters last year.
Originally I thought about Mutt and Greg too.


well we only got to 84 today but the breeze died down so I finally had to turn on the AC at 4:00. Darn it. I am afraid to see my electric bill this month

Dogs are still sleeping, which is nice for me.

I think I will make breakfast for dinner.
Hash browns, bacon, cheese omlet and toast. That sounds nice for a change.


well I am off to check out the other board before fixing dinner.
