Hey everyone....been out doing errands all day...just got home....glad the rain has stopped.

The other half (Mark) is working today....he had a wedding. He is a Wedding Planner here in Philly. If anyone watches Whose wedding is it anyway.....he did the pirate wedding....

Boring day for me here....just me, the 2 dogs and the 2 cats...

I have been reading TR's on other threads...really wish the cruise was much closer.... We are on the wait list for the DVC member crusie in September....we are hoping some kind soul decides to cancel so we can slip in....

We sort of have something in common since DH is a wedding photographer (in addition to many other areas of photography). When he first told me he was going to do it I was like "are you CRAZY, don't you know what brides and their mother's are like???"
What channel is Whose wedding is it anyway on? I don't think I've seen it, but will watch out for it now!

Plus, we're still bracing ourselves in case business ends up being bad during the rest of the year -- we don't really want to be in debt up to our eyeballs!!!

I've been having the same thoughts. We're not taking a vacation at all this year. Just small camping trips close to home...

Yes we're back! Had a great time. Weather was beautiful.

But the campground was very wet. There is a lot of flooding in the area.

I'm finally home,
howdy to everyone. It looks like everyone ha sposted today accept me.

It looks like World War 3 around here
I love a good scrap
Didnt get back from the doctor until almost 1:00 and we were there before they opened at 9. It just took a long time, I am pooped

Greg was given a shot to help the pain and to relax him while he was there, so that gave some relief for the exam which really helped.
He was given muscle relaxers, pain pills and some really strong pain pills which will make him so sleepy he cant drive or work when he takes them.
The other painpills he can go to work when he takes them. he also got a letter stating he can stay home from work until he is healed up, which will be up to him.
He took the painpills about 30 minutes ago and is now sleeping very soundly, whcih I am grateful for.
dogs are sleeping too. I had to sit in the truck with the dogs while he was at the Doctor's becuse we cant leave them alone in the RV for that long. I know they would tear things up.

anyway things should start improving around here now and I did fins a really nice grocery discount store across from the doctors office. I am anxious to go and check it out one day. we dont have any good grocery stores around here that I can find.

Time for me to relax some too,

Suppose to hit 80 today with sun, but right now it looks like rain.

Last full week of school.

Greg, I don't concede...anyone can count down the posts to the top of the page! The challenge comes when you are close to the bottom and be there to get the top!

Chuck, We had more wildebeasts right outside our balcony when we stayed at the AKL. But a giraffe did come right up close the early morning they were feeding them!

Howdy Ladies and Gentlemen.

It is 43 degrees and cloudy this morning. I about froze taking the dogs out this morning Of course they have to go way out in the field to "GO" so I have to follow with the pooper scooper and get all wet too
My shoes are drying on a heat vent, socks too!
It is extremely foggy .

This is the week they said low 50's and high in the low to mid 70's,
what the heck happened

Greg is back to work today, taking the medium pain killer and muscle relaxer, then just before lunch he can take the more powerful one and it will wear off before he has to drive home. That should get him through the day ok.

Minnie seems to be off today, I think her wound is starting to heal and maybe it itches or is just extra sore from getting wet in the grass this morning. It really seems to be bothering her. I always pat it dry gently with a towel and it looks ok, but she is upset with it. so today will be constant making sure she is not trying to get at it or taking her shirt off to get to it.

By next week I hope to relax, ha ha!!

We did re-book the 08 cruise in hopes things will stay balanced out for us between now and then and we can still go. Then we will book this crusie on the 08 so we can get the room credit and 10% off the price. Although since we are still legally Florida residents we may still get a discount on both cruises.

I cant believe school is about out here too. My grandaughter graduates on Friday Talk about feeling old!! Due to Gregs back and the dogs we wont make the graduation but we will drop by her party on saturday afternoon to take her a gift and to congratulate her. They are going to be in the banquet room at a pizza place, exactly what a teen would want, Pizza and video games

well thats all the news I can think of right now, i do spy on my neighbors here, sometime i will give you the run down on them Greg's binoculars come in handy at times Gee whiz I gotta have something to do while sitting in the RV. Most just spend a night while traveling, but a few are here longer like us.

Beautiful day here in Philly. Sunny and should be hitting 85 today. Quiet weekend here, nothing exciting. Tomorrow we are having new windows put on the first floor. We have ar eally old house and are replacing t he from bay window and side window. Hate removing the origianl windows but the heat and air conditioning bills are getting out of hand. We are hoping this will help.

Glad to hear Greg is back to work...

Chuck, I know how much those windows cost! I replaced all of the windows and doors just shortly after moving into this house. What I noticed most was the q-u-i-e-t. Never knew the old ones were THAT loud!

For all of you that would appreciate this...I used the walk behind mower to do the front yard The riding mower uses soooo much gas compared to the walking. I won't walk tomorrow but, hey, I saved the gas for the big part--the backyard!

Good news about Greg!

I'm hoping the 2009 rates don't sky rocket due to rising costs of EVERYTHING! Still kicking around the idea of going on the 2008 (Dawn has come up with some fantastic ideas to accomplish this!). We never committed to a date last year, so we should be able to take advantage of the OBC & discount for the 08.

Dawn, loved the pic, I have a couple almost identical. One when you guys saw us snapping photos,the other before anyone saw us. That was an awesome cruise!!


The sun finally came out. Yahoo!! it is 60 out now. I just took the dogs for a nice walk, until Pixie got scared by a noise, then it was all I could do to hold her on the leashuntil we got back to the RV.
She is so strong it is incredible. I know if she got loos seh would run right back to here and be waiting for me, but dogs running like that are against the rules and they can ask you to move if they want to and since the owner of the park is here right now, only one space away from our spot, I dont want that to happen.

They are working on the landscaping right now, so she is out giving instructions.



well thats all for now, I think while the dogs take their afternoon nap I will look at excursions for this cruise and the 08 cruise. That will perk up the dreary day.
