What a day, what a day!

Lisa, glad to hear yours went great! That sounds like a fun tv show. America Has Talent show starts here pretty soon and that's a fun tv show to watch too. A ventriloquist (sp?) won last year. He was awesome. He sounded like all these different people and singing no less!

Kathy, for Greg and Minnie. Poor Greg, and he feeling all kinds of pressure because he HAS to start this job! Poor Minnie, you'd rather have it be you then them. Just because they are furry doesn't mean anything different!

Well, mine was going pretty smoothly. The traffic for the garage sale was steady--got rid of a lot of stuff. Didn't make much about $25 dollars.

I(we) got the pool open. Was a little green but not too bad. I like it better when it opens up blue but with the winter we had--too warm. Hey, but nothing a good shocking wouldn't take care of. Went to start the pump and nothing.

Oh, and I don't know if I told you, Christian shattered one of the basement windows last night. Not on purpose but he hit a ball (rubber one too) into the window. So that has to be fixed too.

I'm feeling sort of defeated right now too. I think alot of it is because I am exhausted and have done way too much so I hurt terrribly.

Tomorrow is another day. Lisa have another great day and Kathy yours and mine have GOT to be better!

Good Morning everyone! Well, it's almost noon in 4 minutes!

I am soooo sore this morning! But do you think that I can just sit around and chill. I've already picked up and cleaned where necessary, laundry, made stuff for dinner tonight! I HAVE to go out and stir the pool. OMG that sounds funny! I was researching pool pumps last night online and it looks like I can get a more energy efficient model anyway. Just didn't want to spend that kind of money right now

Going to head outside. I'll stop by tonight after the bunch leaves.

Well seems like the rest of my weekend has been good so far still.

I went swimming with my baby nephew Ollie (5 months old) and my sister and mum.

Then we have just been having sunday lunch down the pub and it took 3.5 hours so a really long relaxing lunch.

We did have a bit of a row part way through lunch about how clingy my sister is with her baby but it got smoothed over.

Later on we will be watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Next week we might go see the new one at the cinema.

Some of us cruised together last November and had a great time so we're back for more. My name is Melanie and I'm cruising with DH Chris and Alex who will be 6 1/2 and Jackson who will be 3 1/2 when we cruise.

Dawn- Good luck with the pool. It's pool weather here today.

Kathy- Greg and I have had a similar weekend. Yesterday morning all of the sudden I had bad spasm in my back below one of my shoulder blades and for a while could hardly move. Now I can move but it still hurts. I'm taking lots of ibuprofin. And putting heat on it.

We're using the today to clean up the yard!

Glad to have you with us. We can be a bit crazy a ttimes but harmless for the most part
As stated earlier a few of us have cruised together before and a couple of us are trying to do a 08 cruise with other bananaheads , many of whom will also be on this cruise, they are just not posting until after their 11/08 cruise, then this board will really be jumping!!

I am kathy and it will just be me and my husband, i think this will be #19 cruise for us, I tend to loose track. WE just moved from Florida to Oregon so trying to get situated in a new spot.
Looking forward to getting to know you, please keep posting we would love to hear from you.

well Minnie is doing better today but we cant let the 2 dogs play together or the stitches could be torn out again, that is so hard. They want to play and have tons of energy.

Greg is slightly better but has to take it really easy.

I did a short drive and did a little explorong this morning around here.
will try to get the camera out soon and take photos. It is cooler and cloudy and very windy today.

Haven't heard yet from Kathy to see how Greg is doing today. Hope your back feels better. I can empathize though--only one time, that I remember, my back hurt. Figured out that it was from bending over pushing Elizabeth on her airplane--never going to do that again!

Put PH increaser and shock in the pool and we've been moving the water as best we can today. Christian just fell in !

I got an e-mail from Melanie. Some of her family may have been hit by the tornado last night in Parkersburg, Iowa. They are going up there to see what they can do to help. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today.

Hi everybody,
Well... after a lot of back and forth Chris has gone to help board up my sister's house as much as possible. It just didn't make sense for us to drag the boys up there so as much as I want to be there I have stayed here to watch the kids and handle the business.

My sister is okay but was quite shook up when I talked to her last night. The house my BIL owns that his parent's lived in was completely destroyed. My sister's house is better but still in bad shape. She lost her garage and her car landed on her lawn mower. She is a single Mom with 2 boys 16 & 7.

I have not heard who the dead are but it is very likely my parents will know them as is it is a very small community and they just moved from there last September. My dad was serving a church there.

Anyway! Please think of these people in this wonderful little town in your prayers. Whenever we would visit there I would think about how wonderful small town life was when I lived there as a child. It's just very sad.

Evening all! No rain and has been a pretty day all day. Boys swam in the pool. It heated up to 62 degrees this afternoon

Everyone south of Michigan is suppose to be getting the bad weather. A cold front is coming through and cooling us down to 60 for tomorrow.

I'll stop back later to check to see if Kathy posts.
