We spent several hours saturday looking at 5th wheels and trailers, thought we found what we wanted but it was too heavy, not by much, but just enough that by the time we loaded our stuff in it, that would put it over the limit for the truck.

so today I will search out some more ads on line.

I think I'd better consult our legal council on this one.......Brantley, what do you think? :thumbsup2

Better be careful not to insult or irritate the cruise mom. She has 2 whips and she knows how to use them:thumbsup2
One is for day use the other for night use.

Brantley knows that from last year. You forget he KNOWS me!!!

Be afraid, be very afraid!!:rolleyes1

Ok now I can say Good morning to all,

well we have a nice warm day today.

Last night Minnie woke me up by nudging me and then turned around and walked to the edge of the carpet then threw up:scared:
This was 1:30 a.m.:sad2:
after cleaning it up I was wide awake and she still wasnt feeling well so I sat up with her for a couple of hours. This of course woke Pixie up and she was curious about what was going on.
Of course Greg slept through the entire thing.:confused3
I need to have a talk with Minnie and explain she needs to wake her daddy up for these things.

anyway I didnt get much sleep last night. Once I am woke up its too hard to get back to sleep. Then about 5:00 a.m. I got a leg cramp that woke me up again, so I stayed up. Hope to catch a short nap later today.

Thats my story for the morning. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week.:thumbsup2

Kathy

Wow!!

Sounds like you had a fun night! :scared: :scared:

Well I'm bummed out today?! :sad2:

I noticed that Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas were now listed with our exchange company (Interval International), but they aren't available for exchange yet?! :confused3

Guess I'll go buy me a double scoop of chocolate ice cream to console myself! :sad1:

Thats too bad. AK villas look nice. I have been in the AK lodge before it opened on a passholders only tour of the place before it opened. It was awesome, so unique.
Thats one of the best thing WDW does. Every resort is themed to the extreme, every little detail.

Do they have other Villas there you can use??

Have you seen the small paper back book, Hidden Mickeys at WDW?
It is a detailed book on where hidden Mickeys are allover that place, including hotels and restaurants.
It is fun to look for them as you do the attractions. Kids are especially good at finding them. it weill tell you the park and area of the park then clues to fimd them., like a scavenger hunt.
Then farther back in the book it will tell you exactly where to find it in case you miss them.

I often carry it in my bag so when we are eating, or resting or waiting for a ride we look for the hidden Mickeys in the area. Your kids might enjoy that.

When you go after the cruise they will have extra hidden Mickeys due to the Christmas decorations. Look carefully at any gingerbread houses and displays.

Dawn is probably an expert at finding them. I think we have found all but a few on the extreme rides which i dotn due. most youdonthave to do the ride to find them. I dont know about Everest, it wasnt in my book, maybe an updated book will have the newer stuff.

we will probably be there one day within a week after the cruise to see the decorations. depending on how the dogs do in the kennel. dont want to leave them again immediatley after we get home, maybe 4 or 5 days later.

Chuck,

good to have you back again, happy to hear you were jsut busy, not ill:thumbsup2

Love the picture. I have seen kids in the main street barber shop getting that haircut.
Is that where this was taken? was this you or Mark?

Kathy

it was neither of us. It was on a man on the cruise. Saw him walking around and tried to take the pic. He wasn't young either...lol

Ya, all the other Disney Villa's are available, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Old Key West, Wilderness lodge, Saratoga Spings.....we're hoping we get matched up with Beach Club, it looks like one we would all have fun in... if we can't get into Animal Kingdom.

Wilderness lodge would be my 2nd choice.

As a last resort if we can't get matched with any of the Disney Villas we'll do a "flex change" into "Horizon's by Marriott" or "Marriott's Grand Vista resort."

I didn't know they had a secret Mickey's book?

BCV is our favorite (and our home resort) the pool is incredible. The slide is great too. Plus they have Beaches and Cream there and you can walk into the back entrance of Epcot, take a boat or walk to MGM and you have the boardwalk there as well.

Hmmm...now you are giving me ideas:rotfl: I usually cut Glen's hair...maybe I could do that...he would never know:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well howdy Jeff!!

Ya, I'm really hoping we get BCV, but we probably won't know if we get the exchange until the end of September.

Saratoga Springs is available now, but I'm not to sure we'd like that one?.....don't know to much about it?

Are you guys BVC owners?

The Beach Club looks really neat...we tried to rent points there last time...but it's seems to be really hard to rent points there. We stayed at the Boardwalk once and it was also great...both the Beach Club and BoardWalk are within walking distance of Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. We are hoping to rent points for Animal Kingdom Villas before the cruise...especially since we will probably be skipping the parks do to Kierra and the rides...

Yep we bought BVC as a resale a few years ago. We really don't ever want to stay anywhere else though we did do the Wildnerness last year when nothing was available at BCV. We were actually able to get a 1 bedroom for teh week after Christmas as BCV next December because of the 11 month booking window. That should be a great great trip.

We stayed at Saratoga Springs after our last cruise...that place is huge...it can take a while to get around if you don't have a car...but it is a very nice resort. It is very close to Downtown Disney...just a quick boat ride.
