Nice pictures Brantley! I love that area. It's been about 25 years since I've been on that chairlift though . It probably isn't crowded this time of year either, is it? I don't know if you know but 8 Nana families met in Gatlinburg over July 4th weekend. We went to Dollywood's Water Park but most of us did not venture out--it was sooooo crowded! We were in cabins way out of town.

There were still a lot of people there. I think October is the peak month for the fall leaf colors, but it slows down after that. It turned out to be a great weekend to be there. It was cold at night, but the daytime temps were in the upper 60s.

We went to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies on Sunday. We even had one fish smile for a picture!!!!

Morning all,
Brantley, those are great photos. I dont think I could do those kinds of ski lifts, too scary being all open like that for me I did one years ago at a fair and it was really windy and it rocked like crazy Ever since then I just cant quite talk myself into doing it.

i do the enclosed like at Busch gardens. I did the one at WDW at Blizard beach but its not very high up.

sorry to hear Kofi will be goen for a week. He must be really sick this time. hope its not the flu or something like that. Those can be so hard on little kids

Brantley, Cool aquarium! We love to do aquariums! I don't mind spending money to get in either for something like that!

Two girls? Aren't you missing one or two?

Kathy, I went over to Elizabeth's when I dropped off the boys. She was sooo sick. She went to the doctor at 8:40 and she has a bad ear infection and possible strep. The doctor said he wasn't going to culture it because she was already going to be on medicine for the ear. She stayed here and napped while mom and went to get the medicine.

Another nice day, 61 degrees right now. Suppose to hit 70 again!

Doing a little work then I'm going to take a book and sit in the sun for a little while!

I'm here. Been a busy morning. Nicole has now come down the the cold the rest of us are getting over.

She stayed home from school today.

Probably won't have Kofi until next week. Boo-hoo to the money but I can use the time! He's still sick today and his sisters have days off school until next Tuesday, so Grandma will be around.

Elizabeth is still running a fever this morning. She was going to come over today but we'll have to see how she feels when the Tylenol kicks in!
