I got a picture of my BIL #79 Mark Asper during their game against Purdue last week.

I asked him if he was wearing his Superman underoos during that game?!

Evening all:

You know, it must be the season because it is just darn right busy at work....Wednesday's is typically my "catch up day" but the last two weeks have been so busy.....I really never get caught up anymore...I guess I cant complain, I have a job....

Not much else goin on around here, except that I found us on page 2

I'm waiting till I get to Colorado next month to talk with Heather about the cruise.....I get "more" out of her in person than on the phone.

I agree, I think it must be the time of year because I seem to be running behind myself?

Greg thats a great photo. maybe you should be a photographer for Sports Illustrated GO DUCKS!!! Quack Quack!!Well I am feeling a bit better today. Not much happening here accept working on my FE gifts.

I am not going into Silverton this weekend. I was going to but there is no point in it. I cant go to the mobile home now with the dogs due to allergies.
So we would have to drive the Rv there and the truck, then I would be sitting in the RV with the dogs just like i would if we were staying here. So no point in wasting the gas.

I will go in a couple of weeks because I have the dog sitter lined up for a few hours so I can go shopping for our cruise and they can reconnect with the sitter before they stay for 2 weeks.

I'm glad your feeling a little better today.

Not much going on here today. My mother called this morning and said her door broke, so I'm heading up north to fix it.

Boy, our Royal Caribbean roll call thread for our cruise in March is so slow going. Its like pulling teeth to get people to talk over there!

Greg: Sorry to hear the royle thread is slow moving.....I cant belive with your charm you dont have that thread all stirred up... I'm just sayin!!!!


I can let you know around the first of November about Alaska....you have to understand my daughter.....she's military and think's that everything in life is on military time..........which is slow and we can change our minds at any time.....she dosnt understand about booking early......I will give her the "book early and often 101" class when I'm there in October.

Not much else going on here....my realtor drives me nuts.....the rules are no one can see the house without me being there....(because of Jack) the showings hav to be after 5:30pm so I can get home from work. He call's all the time wanting me to leave work in the middle of the day to show the house.....I want to sell it, but isnt he working for me?? So I havent heard back from hit yet if they will be coming this eveing.... oh well....rant over!!!

gotta run phone are back from service.....and ringing

When I saw Greg had the last post I was afraid he had got the top.

We have had realtors like that before. I wouldnt leave work for that either. If they really want to see it bad enough they will come in the evening or on a weekend. You can bet your realtor wouldnt want to leave his work if the positions were reversed.

Get on them about a cruise mates list, which excursions they are doing suggest a meet for everyone, post a question of the day to help people get aquainted. Just keep at them.
I had that problem on a couple of 3 day cruises, but i kept after them and finally they started posting, mostly to shut me up, I'm sure

Denise, believe me I've tried to get the RCCL thread hoppin', but when your working with the geriatric group of 60+ I don't want to cause any acute myocardial infarctions because I'm really rusty on my emergency percutaneous coronary intervention.

Since we're going on a 10 day cruise in March to South America I don't suspect there will be very many families with kids....which is fine with me....that just means the water slides and kids clubs won't be crowded.

No big hurry on Alaska. Since we're not going until 2011 we've got plenty of time to find the best ship with the cheapest price.

Sounds like your real estate agent doesn't quite "clue in" that other people have to work?

Ok, now that we are back on page 1, where we belong I will post

Last night on the way to the store I saw a doe and 2 fawns then a little farther down the road I saw 2 doe and 1 fawn, then a little farther I saw 1 doe and 1 fawn. Also saw a few on the way home and a large doe went across the end of the driveway 2 nights ago.
I thought it was odd to see so many all in one evening. Usually its only 1 every other trip to town. I love deer they are so graceful and beautiful.


I will be home this weekend so perhaps I will get my FE gifts almost done.
Greg will be working on the mobile home all weekend and saturday move his mom in. He will be exhausted by sunday evening when he gets home.

Anybody got plans this weekend??

Hi Kathy,

That was an unusually large deer sighting for one evening?! I don't thinking I've ever seen that many around here.

I rarely ever see deer in our backyard, but each winter we have a couple of moose that spend the winter here....they try and blend in with the horses so we don't notice them.

A few years ago we had a mountain lion run through the yard....that one caught me off guard! I didn't think they'd be down this low in the valley?

This evening we're headed to Park City, Utah. The leaves are changing color and its a pretty time of year to go.

Wow Kathy.....that was a lot of deer....I really like them to...they are pretty animals.....actually saw a deer last weekend while going to our concert...he was standing on the edge of a very busy road.....I was afraid he was going to run out but he finally turned and ran back the other way.....

So how is your dinner seating on this cruise? Are you going to be able to have a table to yourselves or have to share?

Nothing much going on here....
weekend plans: grocery shopping tonite, lawn cutting tomorrow morning then going to dinner and a show in the eveing.....sunday to my dad's for breakfast and laundry sunday afternoon.......wow, pretty exhausted already and I havent even started the weekend yet

We'll have a table of our own, but we're not going alone on this cruise. My in-laws are coming along with my mother, our neighbors with their 5 kids and possibly a couple of my brothers and their families.
