Okay, Judy and I are looking for my nebulizer...we have meds and mouthpieces, but cannot find the freakin' machine! I may have to call on one of you if the kid's lungs blow. (They always do on vacation.) What a trooper.

DH is still at work; thankfully, he's packed. I was dragging suitcases around at 5:00 this morning...too excited for words. I'm going to try to go to sleep early so I can wake up, shower, drink a bunch of coffee, and hit the road before 5 AM.

Good thing Shell is done because otherwise we'd make her add who has nebulizers to the list...

We'll have ours if you need one!

Wow!!! The day after tomorrow my family is leaving and like 2 days after that, its our cruise!!!!


I feel like i could run a marathon or a triathalon(which ever ones shorter).

My mom has started cleaning up and packing and the slightest bit of noise and she will completely freak out so don't totally give her a hard time she needs to be mellow .

My dad just got a new phone for the third time and he just got his Treo like 5 months ago and he bought a new one today......its like a continuing pattern......Oh look a better phone.....nah this is old news.......cool a newer phone...nah this is old stuff....next!!

I got an email about it but wasn't sure if it was for real. It's kinda like hosting a Pampered Chef Party thrown by Disney Cruise Line. You have to put you name on a list and be willing to have the party at the end of January.

I got one tooo.. will look at it when we get back!

Hello all!

Long, long day - but I am officially on vacation from work! YEA!

Tomorrow is catch up day - baking pies for Thanksgiving, finish packing, another trip to the store to buy stuff, possible pedicures for the girls and I, getting house in order and lucky me - FLU SHOT!

I was in session tonight w/ one of my families when my phone goes off that I have a text message - based on timing, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my dh about picking girls up from after school care. But much to my surprise - it was my MD - text messaging me that "someone was supposed to come in for a flu shot . . . who would that be? And when are you leaving for vacation?" Yikes - she is a great MD and we have gotten to be friends over the years I have known her - darn, thought I was going to run out of time but I guess I will add that to my list!

Anyway - will check back in the morning - going to grab some sleep tonight!

Guess what? I found out that another family from Mooresville is on the cruise with us! They also have a daughter under 10, but I don't know her specific age . . .

And they are on the 7th deck! What a cool thing - 3 Iredell County resident families on the Disney cruise and on either deck 7 or 8! Must be "Magic"

Those of you with the waxing countdown - what exactly are the waxings involved in? I am guessing not your eyebrows, but just wanted to clarify . . . I had my "spa" appointment on Monday this week - all set to go on vacation now!

you would think that after posting 6 posts, i would be tired, but no . . . not at all. Yet dh is comfortably snoring next to me.

all i can think about it "Next Tuesday I will be Palo eating dinner, wondering when the fireworks will begin!"

Okay - I have been dying to ask this question for days, and since no one has a little green light on, I can do it now and not worry too much . . .

Those of you with the waxing countdown - what exactly are the waxings involved in? I am guessing not your eyebrows, but just wanted to clarify . . . I had my "spa" appointment on Monday this week - all set to go on vacation now!

I am getting my eyebrow, underarms, bikini and legs waxed. I haven't shaved since September...it's pretty bad right now but will all be gone at noon tomorrow

Usually I have that honor but we are leaving friday to spend the night at the Radisson. We did that last year and it made for so much less stress and rushing on saturday morning.
Besides this year we are going over around 5 a.m. saturday and watch the magic come into the port. So w eneed to already be at the port area.

Today i will be checking back and forth due to some preparation work for Thanksgiving. I like to do a lot of prep the day before so not so much to do tomarrow.

I also need to go to the bank to get some $$$ for shopping on the islands.

remember for those of you using cash to shop there, not credit cards. Many of the small shops or outside booths often canrt change a $20, so take some small bills too.
Plus many wont take a credit card unless your purchase it $20 or $25 or more.
