Hi Terri,
I just had a busy day today. I had grocery shopping, laundry, planning menu for Thanksgiving, cleaning the guest bedroom and bath for sons guest tonight.

Does DCL have hanging "folders" outside the cabins for notes, daily newspaper, etc.?

No they dont. they do have a metal fish that you can use to hang a note on.

Many get chalk boards or cork boards with papers pinned to them and attach magnets to the back of them and hang from the door.

good idea! thanks Kathy!!

I just noticed that there is (I think) a new shore excursion in St Martin - "Butterfly Anytime" - it is just tickets to the Butterfly Farm, which sounds great, and I think there is a nice family beach near the Butterfly Farm too - "Le Galion" - can anyone confirm this? Is it all walking distance? Per the DCL website, the Butterfly Farm is a three-minute walk.

This has to be a new butterfly farm. The one my DD and her kids went to was a long bus ride to.
sounds like a good deal though.

OK...I'll get that waxed too:scared1:

Okay, reminds me of yet another TRUE story. Once again, I'm minding my own business getting a massage (had a gift certificate) and the girl tells me how they do Brazilian All the Way waxes on men...I said, "Shut UP!" and she said..."OMG..."

Since I'm not Paul Harvey, I'll have to tell you "the rest of the story" at the girls' meet!:rotfl:

Mutt must be busy working today, he hasnt posted at all:confused:

Brantley is AWOl too.

Rick is AWOL

I see a man trend here, we must of scared them off:rolleyes1

We should be able to hit 16K -- even though the number of posters will slowly dwindle in the upcoming week.

Remember last year on Thanksgiving?? I think there were are few of us frantically posting so we could hit 6000. It was weird because there were only a few of us left. Kind of like Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None :scared1: :scared1:

1. Christine and I are hairy
2. There will be parties down in steerage with Irish folk musicians
3. The Spice Boys have made their debut
4. Why do we have to work when all we want to do is cruise?

Anyone else?

T

That there's funny...I don't care WHO you are.

We went over the 15K mark and there seems to be some discussion about who is buying whom drinks...we're way past 1000 pages, too. Kathy has put away her whip...don't believe it!

My thoughts EXACTLY.

BTW, Judy's birthday is Wednesday...only a few days before the ship sails!

And two more bananas for Kathy::banana:   Don't put away the whip...Mutt loves it.

Well, by golly, we must have a round of drinks at the DIS meet Saturday to celebrate!party: party:

Jaime -my advice. Just book it and then you can cancel if you need to. That way you get the lowest price possible the discount and the onboard credit. No penalty so long as you cancel within prescribed deadlines but if you DON'T book onboard and then decide you can do it afterall, you wind up paying more and get no onboard credit. Just a thought. :goodvibes

DEFINITELY book...you can get your $$$ back. Our first cruise, we didn't rebook and I swear, when we walked in the door back home, I called and booked. Judy didn't book last time and regrets it...DO it! We changed our date, but we were locked in at the great rate!
