QOD:

My first answer was going to be sitting on our verandah relaxing. And I think I will stick with that.

But after catching up on the posts today, I almost changed it to hanging out in the area outside the mudroom. I am not sure what all is going to be going on in there!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, if Trey and I are in there ... :rolleyes1 ...

Mel-what are your kids wearing to dinner, since no one else is answering me?

I am NOT Mel, and I dont have kids along but I have seen many kids over the last 14 DCL cruises.

on formal night lots of girls wear princess dresses or cute dresses like you'd see for sale for Easter or Christmas and maybe a bow or ribbon in their hair.
other nights you see lots of sundresses.

Boys on formal very few suits unless they are older boys who wont out grow them, you will see lots of slacks and a nice shirt and sometimes a nice sweater instead of a shirt when its in the winter time. A few may have suits but they are usually because of a family photo they want to have everyone dressed extra nice.
other days lots of docker and khaki type pants and any kind of a collared shirt.

One thing you will notice, no matter what the suggested dress is, you will see some who wear what ever they want and nobody says a word.
shorts tank tops what ever??

Last year on one of our cruises we were in Lumieres on formalnight and one large family was all dressed nice accept the grandpa. he had a plain white t-shirt and brown shorts and sandals with white socks. Maybe he was scenile I dont know, most likely he wanted to dress the way he wanted to and nobody was going to make him dress differently.

I have seen several kids 2 and under in little suits that were shorts with frills and bow ties that really looked cute and dressy, that was ok in my opinion.

so you will see it all from shorts, to jeans to long evening gowns.

Which reminds me: I went to the gas station this morning. You know-to get gas........and I said to the cashier. "I'd like to $50 on pump 7 please...."

He said "Number 7, eh?.....$50, eh?" I just started grinning at him. I'm sure he thought I was making fun of him, but I wasn't!!! It just made me think about you...........
 ah....

Oh, hi Shell..............you left me as soon as I logged on you little @#*%!

I was going to answer the QOD: Bill and Shell's cabin..........but without you there, others might think that was strange:rolleyes1

That is so scary ... yet so sexy ... :rotfl2: Wait a minute, isn't this how the movie "Single White Female" started?! :scared1:

Okay guys ...

Door tag (as I know it) is the fun and simple activity of transferring a single door magnet to everyone's door (at least once) throughout the cruise.

I am happy to make one (it will be a surprise) and "tag" someone as soon as we get onboard. It will then be up to that person to "tag" someone else and so on. As the magnet appears on your door, you sign it (sharpies work best) and then pass it on. The quicker the better to make sure it makes the rounds. :dance3:

Personally, I think we should all treat ourselves to an extra Bahama Mama (or insert drink of choice) every time it makes it all the way around the group. :drinking1

What do you think? Wanna play?

:tinker: Karen

Count me in.   i love to play :yay: :yay: :yay:

Hey Dawn-I looked at the 10 forecast for Orland and Friday it's supposed to rain all day. Are you guys sticking with your original plans regardless? I'm still going to the MK on T-Day because nothing else is open that late, but I might go back over on Friday hoping it will be less crowded. Especially since Saturday is supposed to sunny again.
hmmm...I looked this morning and it was supose to be nice on Friday:confused3

Well, I ask because DS doesn't really have that many pants. He has lots of shorts. Same with DH. He has really nice dress shorts, but I said "No!!" I'm not going to have you be "the one". I don't know what I'm going to do about Jacob. He'll outgrow all those pants before he really gets a chance to wear them.............:sad2: Maybe I could make some out of garbage bags

Hey, what forecast are you looking at? I hope it does not rain all day Friday:sad2:

sounds like fun to me, but most wont have sharpies with them?? is there some way to stick one in the fish for them to use and pass it on too??

there are a couple of people who never posted their cabin numbers so if you are one of them and you want to play, be sure and give Shell your number or post it here so everyone can copy it down on their cruise list.

Kathy, is my box there yet? It's supposed to be delivered today.

Am I doing something wrong?

My bananas are just standing around, not moving. How do you guys get your bananas to move? (insert various private jokes here) :rotfl2:

Ok, so I emailed our TA the other day when everyone was talking about dining rotations and got a response. It says we are on the TAAP rotation.

What is that?

Does that mean we have dinner on the Wonder our first night?:confused3 :lmao:

Nope-Just checked again. Definitely says Scattered T-Storms and 60% chance of rain...........but it's going to be 80 so I'm sure it won't bother that many people.
