Hi Everyone. Well my counter is down to the single digits as we are leaving next Friday.

We will be attending a Thanksgiving at someone else home. All I am responsible for is mac and cheese (a staple @ thanksgiving). The only thing we have to do that afternoon is finish packing and watch football.

We're doing the same thing, except I'm bringing pies, which are in my freezer waiting to be baked! (Or perhaps I'll just thaw the turtle cheesecake instead. . . )

well its seems everytime I sign off you guys appear and post a lot if I didnt feel so loved here I would think you were trying to avoid me

we should arrive around 2:30 at the radisson, then settle in a bit after that many of the nana heads will be arriving there late afternoon, early evening.
We'll have to hope you recognise someone from the cruise list so you will know who we all are, probably be the loudest group there

Our photo isnt one you can really see our faces, thanks to sneaky Bill and his camera Payback is coming this year But others are clear so you can find someone.

I always suggest that everyone print off the cruise list and bring with them so they can look for people easier at the hotel.

I dont think I have enough paper to print off all the pages. but I did print off yesterdays poem because it was a classic and I want to put it with my album.
Best way to remember the dirt on everyone for next years cruise

I am cooking dinner but only for 3 people and 3 dogs.
my problem is to not have a bunch of leftovers to have to worry about since we leave the next day.
I can give some to DS to take home, but will probably wind up freezing alot of stuff.
I miss cooking a huge dinner. when we lived in Oregon we had from 10 to 15 guests which was a lot fo fun. I especially love to cook the pies!!

That is probably the issue.....early is ALWAYS wait listed and tough to change seating and rotations.....switch to late and link to my ressie and you are in! LOL We had 126 people linked to my reservation # in 05 and all got the rotation of choice....but....late seating.

Oh by the way, I myself, NO ONE ELSE, only me cooked thanksgiving dinner last year.

you really didnt want to eat Okie's cooking did you? this is suppose to be a good meal Sorry Okie but I remember all the posting about your cooking, what little you do, last year.

There are more men chefs than women. I cooked for years in restaurants and only found 2 ladies, one couldnt take the heat!! The other moved on to a dfferent place to work. I was it, of course I was the best there

Ok ladies, I did attempt a fish extender today.
I will share a photo of it, but keep in mind I had NO pins, No thread and needles, just my fingers, glue and an iron to work with.
soit's alittle crooked and the pockets arnt the exact same size, just close.

The photo is of it laying on our coffee table, with paper towels behind it until the glue dries, overnight.
Then I will add a small dowel and ribbon to hang it by.

hope it shows up ok.
