Back from the vote..... one of the old ladies yelled at me! I showed her my ponytail, growled a couple of times, showed her my wicked cool Motley Crue tattoo and earring and she fainted dead away.... actually, my sweater vest was covering up my tattoo, I was wearing a stocking cap grandma knitted for me so that covered up my earring and the ponytail...and the growl was really sort of an apology.... what has life done to me?

Got home from my visit to my friends house. We watched "Freedom Writers". I liked it, pretty inspiring. We then played games until they had to leave for band practice (?) I'll be on till 8:30

Amen to that! I been meaning to ask ya....what do you do for work? I dont know if I ever read it anywhere on here...or maybe ya didn't want us to know--- thats cool too, I'm just a nosey ol dog.

Bill, missed this earlier. I am an attorney. I have a general practice here in Statesville. I have one partner now and we are bringing in another person around the first of December, so there will be 3 of us practicing out of one office. I am in my 6th year of practice. Before that I was a police officer and deputy sheriff here in this county for about 10 years. Before that I did a few years in the Coast Guard after high school. I never had thought of being a lawyer until I started spending a lot of time at the court house as an officer. Then I figured out that you really did not have to be all that smart to be a lawyer

I do! I haven't had too much practice on other people (Lily won't sit still long enough!) but I can do my own...
