11/24/07 We are Better Than Leftovers!!! Nana Head reunion Part 3

Good Morning All:

I have been lurking, but didn't have time to say Hi. Hunter broke his arm on Saturday. So we spent most of the day yesterday waiting on appointments and getting it reset. We did luck out and get a water proof cast so he is ready to snorkel. I hope everyone is having a great week and that everyone stays healthy.

Funny story now it wasnt then!!

Our oldest broke her arm and had tonsilidious (spelling??) at the same time but kept it from us. we took her to the fair where we noticed her holding her arm on the rides, then when I touched her I realized she was burning up. She was 6 at the time.
So here we go to a walk in clinic on a saturday with a 6 year old with a 103 fever, a broken arm, bad tonsils and blue cotton candy all over her clothes and face. That doctor really raked me over the coals. he never did believe me that we had no idea that she was ill. He was going to report us as abusive parents. Marie didnt say a word.

After we left marie said she didnt want us to know because she wanted to go to the fair, but of course she didnt tell the doctor that. I was so embarassed.

That wasn't me, Mel ... that was da Mutt ... and it was Lord of the Rings, not Harry Potter And, FYI, I don't know either movie/series!

OMG, I just went and got gas. First of all, I paid $3.09 . Second, IT IS SO FREAKIN' COLD OUT THERE! Incredible wind gusts ... bout froze my patootie off (a girl can wish)! Albuquerque's looking pretty darn good for a couple of days ...

Oh... I knew it was Lord of the Rings. We're into it at our house! And I was making fun of myself... because I'm a Harry Potter fan too!

I know I got gas yesterday and it was way high! Both boys headed off to daycare in their winter jackets for the first time today.... brrr!!!

Good Morning, er afternoon, everyone! You know that wind, snow, sleet you guys are all complaining about. Well, we got hit HARD too. Lost the cable for most of the morning. It's taken me better part of an hour to catch up!

Kathy was talking about the cruisemates list. I wish ALL of you (Ron I'm talking to YOU )would get Shell your picture to put in the cruisemate list. I use it ALL the time. Shell, we leave on the 20th, would you mind firing out the most up-to-date copy. I haven't said it in a while but I really appreciate all the work you put into doing the list!

Ron, you do know that you are next door to Kathy and around the corner from me!

Kim, yes I read the post about the boys having a posse! I really hope the boys have a terrific time! Jacob get better!

You guys come on let's quit having all these illnesses, accidents, and surgeries... It's been our sinuses that have been going batty. That's the one good thing about cold weather, they should get better now.

Cheri, I thought that you had good questions. One I can answer immediately. Like Jeff and Ron, I LOVE to travel. Usually have 3 or 4 trips being planned at a time and then I'm still dreaming of what the next one should be! Next year's itinerary so far is a trip out west, 2 WDW trips and a cruise.

Movie I don't know. Let me think about it....

Welcome Poohwhorh, I have a 10 year old that will be 11 on the 25th. He will be the one with the PINK cast at the get together.

Thanks to Woo I almost didn't get to sign my sons cast. He wanted Auntie Woo to sign it first. Trey signed it "It wasn't me". Since is was a part in the last arm breaking.

OK...so I have a crazy question. While we are on the ship, do we have any time changes? I know they do on the Western but I haven't heard anything about it for the Eastern.
