Okay-I have to leave in a minute to have lunch with Jacob. It's National School Lunch Week:woohoo:

This is how important you guys are to me:

I was totally depressed until I logged on and caught up. I have been very disciplined in my food intake this week. Not one ounce of anything I wasn't supposed to have. I get in the car this morning and I'm really excited because it's weigh in day at the gym. I saunter in there all confident, step on the scale............NOT ONE FRIGGIN' POUND!!!!!!!!! I don't know I manged to make it through my workout. I cried the entire way to my Parent/Teacher conference.

The good news is; they were really nice to me......They either knew I'd been crying or they figured I was strung out on drugs. Either way, they weren't messing with me today:lmao:

Shell-Maybe you could use that strategy today.

I feel much better after some laughs with you guys

Target alert! Target alert!

I just came back from my favorite store (big surprise) and found some great items in the $1 section that would be great for the cruise. They had all sorts of Cars and Princess items...tattoos, wallets, purses, stickers...lots of fun things for the kids.

They also had a whole assortment of items from the tv show The Office...I know lots of you watch it. There was a magnetic dry erase message board that would be great for leaving message on the cabin door.

My store was just stocking all these items so hopefully you can find some at your stores.

Hey Kim...I have been eating very well this week and for the past 4 days have exercise for 60 minutes everyday...we'll this morning I got on the scales and I was up 3 pounds:confused3 no idea why...but I'm sure if we both kept it up "behaving" we'll loose our weight by time we cruise...

Jen, Melaine & Jeff...do you think Lily, Alex & Emily will be going to the kids clubs? Alicia is pretty shy at first and is a real mommy's girl...I've been telling her all the fun stuff she will be doing in the clubs and telling her about all the new friends she'll meet but I am so unsure if she'll stay...she'll be okay when her activies are the same as Kierra's but other than that I don't hold much hope...Michelle's ds Jacob(4) was working on her when he was here last...he told her that he'll be her bestest buddy on the ship...

Hi Jaime!!!

Yes, Lily will for sure be going to the kid's club - she is usually a little standoffish at first in new situations, but once she sees how much fun everyone is having she usually does just fine and we are good to leave. We have taken her on one other cruise and she was 2 1/2 at the time, and by the end of the cruise we could hardly get her to leave the kid's club (this was on Carnival). In fact, there were a few times when she didn't want to eat with us and instead asked to go eat dinner with all of her friends.

Is Alicia newly three or is she closer to 4? Lily will be four in February, so she will be 3 yrs, 10 mos at the time of our cruise. I'm thrilled that there are several other kids that are her same age - I'll be sure to point out Alicia, Jacob, Alex & Emily's pics to her prior to our trip so she will know that she has some new friends coming. :yay:

Jen

Morning everyone!

A while back there was a discussion about car services. Someone recommended a company other than Happy Limo and I can't remember what it was. If you're out there can you please share the name again? Jaime's group and my group are all staying at Pop Century the night after the cruise so we are exploring sharing a ride. Thanks!

that MAY have been me. We had a bad experience with Happy Limo but earlier had a very good experience with Tiffany Towncar

Lily and Emily are almost exactly the same age. Emily turns 4 on Jan. 3.

Kim- Stay the course! Stay the course! You could just be retaining water or something. I only weigh myself first thing in the morning before I've eaten or drank anything. You can do it. I know you can. :thumbsup2

Really... if you haven't checked out spark people do so. Are you tracking your food intake? That really helps to give you a feel for how many calories are really in stuff, and spark people has a great tool for doing that.

Alex is a little older, he turned 4 last July. But since girls tend to be a little ahead of boys at that point that probably will be perfect! He is a little social butterfly and just loves to play with anyone who wants to play with him.

Just saw on the main board about new late night adult parties - including a spring break party that people say was fun. We ought to make that another meet. Mina and I made only ONE late night thing together (pub night on the last night) and I was able to go to hear TB & the Dreamboats....but this time I want to at least plan to go to one party. This one sounds cool (and includes jello shots, dudes). :rotfl2:

I am so going to do the Spring Break Party. I love anything Spring Break Themed...I guess it's because I have never actually been to a real Spring Break. Ever time they have something about Spring Break on TV I am there watching it. I was excited to see this on the new Navigators. Speaking of which, I have went over the first few days and here's what I have highlighted on them:

Saturday:
Adventure Away 4:30
All Aboard Let the Magic Begin 6:15
Magic Quest 10:15
Match Your Mate 10:45 (If I can stay up that late:confused3 )

Sunday:
Art of Entertaining 10:15
Pool Games 2:30
Martini Tasting 4:00 (Is this the offical Ladies Meet)
Golden Mickeys After Party 9:30
Tribute to Frank Sinatra 10:30

Monday:
Art of Entertaining 10:15
Cake Decorating and Fruit Carving 2:00
Connect Four Challenge 4:15 (I think it would be a lot of fun for all of us to get together to do this)
Cabaret: John Charles 10:15
Spring Break Beach Bash 11:00

Tuesday:
Wii-embledon 5:00 (I think this would be another thing to do as a group)
Sunset Tunes at Quiet Cove Pool 7:15
Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party 9:45
Krazy Karaoke 10:15 (featuring 3 Fat Sistas:lmao: )

I can't wait till they post the rest of the week. It looks like Disney changed a lot of things on these navigators. Lot's of new parties. I can't wait...want to go NOW:banana:

Tania,

we are going to do the Pinel Island snorkeling excursion and the Blackbeards castle walking tour. This si our 4th time there and we had a hard time finding something we wanted to try that we hadnt already done.

Several people did the private Sonny Liston tours last year and loved it, maybe you would be interested in that one?? I'm sure someone can fill you in on it.

Jeff,
I saw the same thread, I want to check out the new stuff too.

That's so perfect - there are actually a lot of boys in Lily's preschool class and she too loves to play with anyone else who will play with her...they should get along well.

:cheer2: And I'll say it again...Goooooooooo Rockies!!! They are officially in the World Series and we are so excited!!!! :cheer2:

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:   :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Kim:

Muscle weighs more than fat. Keep that in mind the next time you weigh. I have to every time I get on that darn scale.

These sound great...I plan on staying up late - luckily Lily is bunking with her grandmother, and we are a couple hourse behind the east coast, so staying up late shouldn't be too difficult (I hope)...the only killer is when I start eating...scratch that...drinking too early. :lmao:

Great game last night...a little scary at the end though. I am now an offical Rockies fan...:confused3 what, there's no way I'm rooting for the Red Sox:crazy2: and since the Tribe beat my deloved Yankees, I have to root for someone.

Keep your chin up, Kim!!!! You can do it!!!!
