Inspired by Judy to take Elizabeth out of school for another couple of days, and worried about not having a vacation planned after this cruise, I booked a long weekend trip to WDW in January over MLK weekend. I know Kathy, you said that every holiday is crowded, but wondering if folks have been to the World on this weekend. We haven't yet gotten flights so I'm not 100 percent committed...but we did book the GF - we've never stayed there and with the AAA discount (and hopefully an AP one coming up) it's doable.
We also are tentatively scheduled to go to WDW over spring break. I know that this is nuts but....we have annual passes that expire in May so we want to "get our money's worth."
We are booked offsite at the Marriott Grande Lakes and figure that we may actually try Universal (horrors) for the first time this trip. Any tips from anyone out there on navigating Easter Weekend at WDW. Do we just avoid MK at all costs or are all the parks insane? As a side note, a couple of years ago we were in California visiting my sister and went to DL on Easter Day and it wasn't really all that crowded.
