3:36 actually, but that's pretty close.

My, my, aren't we up early! :surfweb: .

Hope everyone is gearing up for a fun weekend. Sarah is doing Beach Sweep to clean up Wrightsville Beach after a summer of folks trashing it. I'm doing laundry and getting ready to make chicken salad. Before you think that I'm industrious, I HAVE to cook the chicken because I neglected to prepare it during the week.:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Poor Ken is working non-stop...going in at 5:50 PM and getting home sometime the next morning. Sarah and I haven't seen him for two days. :confused3 Love a hardworking man, but this is ridiculous!

Judy and I plan to finalize our DCL online registration with passport numbers, etc. We also need to get trip insurance.

You know what Saturday means...someone is getting off the ship in a few hours! I'm hoping I'll remember to watch our ship sail this evening. Geez, Judy, let's have a Sailaway party!!!:thumbsup2

Hey, I'm thinking of putting up our fake Christmas tree the weekend before the cruise so we can come home to the fun of Christmas...Is this TOO crazy???:santa:

Till we meet   again!

Robin, not only is that NOT crazy, let me tell you ... it's a necessity. Last year, I made fun of the people getting their houses all Christmased up before the cruise, only to find that after we got back, I was struggling to find time to do everything that needed to be done in time for the holidays, including all the shopping, decorating, parties, etc. So this year I will definitely have some of that done before we leave.

Mornin' Nanas!

Off to a 4-mile trail race -- this one is nice and close to home (less than 10 miles away:yay: ). Bill, are you still planning to race next weekend???

Have a great morning -- I'll check in later!:thumbsup2

Mornin everyone....hope you all had a good Friday....

Cheri...good luck on your race....go gettem! As for next weekend...the spirit is willing but the body is week. I'm hanging back for a little bit and train. My knee just isn't ready to do it yet so I'm doing the "better safe than sorry" thing. Don't worry, I'll get back on the horse again.

Brantley...I shoulda known...we're gonna get along famously.

Ok, off to do uh...whatever it is that I do.....
good day to all...

Oh, decorating before we leave is a great idea. There go those brilliant minds again.

Waling With the Dinosaurs was an awesome sight. If it comes your way; I would highly recommend seeing it, but if you choice between the cheap seat, and the not so cheap seats. Go with the cheap seats. I could have gone away for the weekend for what last night cost. But, it was a surprise for Jacob and he said next to Disney it was the best thing he'd ever seen:rotfl2: I think when you love Disney like we do, your expectations are rarely ever met by anyone else. They truly do have a quality product.

We have three places we're supposed to be tonight. It's a beautiful Fall day. Just the kind of day you would like to have if you had visitors staying with you. Oh, the wonderful things we could be doing...........:rolleyes1 Nothing like a morning dose of guilt,

Think instead of all the things we're supposed to today, we'll head to Busch Gardens and Hallowscream. Judy-maybe I'll see your student there.

Robin-You have the most outrageous stories. Cannot wait to see you on Deck 9..............

Have a great day everyone. Check back in later. Wow, 20 more Nanas...........

I love the smell of guilt in the morning :sad2:

hey i said it was better than ONE disney on ice show. Not the disney magic show we saw at Chrysler hall!

Good afternoon all!

Had to bring the girls to dance this morning...our weekends are always crazy.

Anyone got any pic's of how they decorate their door?

I like the idea of decorating before we leave...not sure if it would work for us though...my grandparents are puppy sitting here and I think she'd be afraid my dog would eat my decorations:eek: So we might have to wait until we get back...but we actually won't be home until the 8th so not quiet sure what to do.

We talked about it last night and it doesn't look like we'll be ordering nanahead shirts...they are really nice however it will cost us about $225US for 8 shirts by time we pay shipping and Canadian Customs...

We had purchased supplies to make shirts for our trip this summer before we knew we were cruisin' on the Magic...making shirts is Kierra's favorite pre-trip thing to do...even the outcome of the shirt is always a suprise:goodvibes We have made them for all of our Disney trips. If we ordered the Nanahead shirts too we'd be at about $350 for t-shirts and Kierra would be pretty mad at me if I didn't wear her shirt the first day!

Okay just notice I have post over 800 post! Would love to be at 1000 before the trip...but that's alot of posting:rotfl:

Hope everyone is having a great weekend...we'll I'm off to go shopping...

Jaime, if you wanted, we could get them for you and give them to you at the terminal. Then you don't have to pay all the shipping and taxes.

Well, I'm back from shopping and I demonstrated incredible Costco willpower and didn't get the cheesecake, the carrot cake, or the key lime pie. THEN, I found the $8 container of double dipped chocolate raisins. OMG! It's bad, very bad. At least I'm getting my iron for the day. Oh, and I forgot the two pounds of almonds, too. I was ready to chalk this bad behavior up to not having eaten breakfast...but, I had forgotten that I cooked a huge breakfast when Ken got home this morning. Forgive me, nanas, for I have sinned.:confused3

So glad that you see the nonsensical logic that I have about Christmas decorating. :santa: I must admit that I left out our nativity scene all year. Remember Miss Havisham in Great Expectations, sitting there all those years in the wedding dress with the rotting cake? That's me with Christmas...can't bring myself to put everything away. :lmao: BTW, Costco had some fabulous pre-lit decorated garland for our stairway. I am simply a sucker for Christmas... We got married during the holidays, too. :santa: I usually buy everything a million percent off after Christmas. It's the sickness I had before I caught the Disney flu. Oh, the suffering! HA!

Hey, do you guys have the Santa hats that have Mickey ears??? Oh, yeah, I'll be wearing mine...maybe with a tiara on top. Of course, I seem to have lost all tiaras and fabulous jewelry from our last cruise. I must have hidden them in that place that I can never remember. It has come to my attention that I am getting older, but I keep forgetting that part, too.:rotfl:

TTFN!

I have the hat. Have to remember to bring it.

Happy Saturday, everyone!

We went to see The Game Plan last night and it was surprisingly good. It's the new Disney movie that has "The Rock" in it. I didn't know what to expect but found myself laughing out loud and enjoying it very much. Great family movie!

I definitely plan to do some decorating before we leave, especially outdoors if the weather cooperates. Several years ago we went to Paris just before Thanksgiving (yes, including a stop at Disneyland Paris!) and when we came home the weather was just too cold and nasty to decorate outside so we looked very unfestive that year. I want to get as much done as possible prior to leaving.

Speaking of decorating, here is a taste of Halloween-

Sharon, what are those plants of? They look so familiar... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Okay, I'm back from homecoming. I was stationed at the Senior Booth, selling pizza, for FIVE HOURS  I was alright, sometimes it got really hairy when lots of people showed up for lunch. We actually ran out of pizzas at one point. :scared1:
We lost the game (it's okay, we've grown used to losing so much) Our parade band rocked out loud. They are one of the top in the state, the band, that is.
I'm NOT going to the dance tonight for I don't have a date. But I'm alright about it... their dances aren't the best ever. :sad2:
Now, I have to get back to school work :laundy: and later I'm gonna see the ship pull out (that is if I remember).

Ta!
-Josh
