Will no one tell me what to wear to lunch in the Dining Rooms? I figure on one capri outfit (dressy casual), two sundresses, three dinner dresses (two pairs of dress shoes), tanks, shorts and flops (2 pairs), 3 bathing suits, two cover ups. It will be a miracle if I stick to it.

Gonna go shop for some over the shoulder boulder holders................I hate spending money on them. But, I save so much on underwear

I'm planning on doing laundry too. I always seem to end up doing it on vacation no matter what, so I'm going to try not to overpack and just plan on having to wash a load or 2 for all of us.
This is my first year having to pack for 4 people and it was quite overwhelming on our last vacation (granted that was a camping trip which is worse because you have to pack all the cooking supplies, food and etc.)

FYI-Robin and Judy will have to give their opinion of this. But, water shoes are for tourists. I don't know if there is anything in your area that you just DON'T wear, but we don't wear water shoes............. practical though they may be. The Lands End water tennis shoes are okay. Maybe I'll get some of those............

If I had a girl and she was as cute as yours, I would spend all my money in Hartstrings, they have the cutest stuff. Jacob of course has outgrown them.

I plan on bringing a cotton sun dress, a casual short sleeved dress, a formal dress, a black halter dress for semi-formal night, and probably a couple pairs of capri pants with shirts to go with them. I doubt I will wear them all because I have a feeling we will end up at the buffet an evening or 2.

I doubt we will eat in the dining room much except at night. We never have on any of our other cruises. I will have multiple swimming suits along.

I cut my foot swimming in the ocean once, so I'm kind of a weenie I guess. Water shoes are nerdy huh? Well won't be the last time...

How much is it to wash laundry on the Magic? Is it usually busy?

Sea days are soooooooo busy, as you can imagine. You can try early early in the morning or late at night. I swear there was a fight that was going to break out last year. Part of the problem was that the laundry on deck 2 wasn't operational.

We get late on the 23rd...but we don't fly home until Dec 6. We plan do our shopping the day we get of the ship since we bring the car back Sunday morning...we are also going to MVMCP ...we are very excited about that.

You know you could always send the laundry out and let them do it. Also they have those new packets from Tide where you can do a sink full. We never do laundry, just pack it in bags and then put in the suitcases as we go. Then we just dump them in front of the laundry room when we get home.

Evening Everyone! Teach me to go 1 1/2 days without reading the posts...there were 8 pages!

Does anyone watch Survivor? I can't wait for Amazing Race to come on again. Results show for DWTS tonight. Do you vote? None of the men really impressed me, as you said, not like the past shows.

I found out today (the contract was finally approved) that we have 1 extra day for Thanksgiving school vacation--Wednesday, November 21st. And guess what! I was able to obtain reservations at WDW for 2 nights! We are excited, I thought we wouldn't be able to go back until April.
