Good afternoon everyone!

Can't say I'm having the best day...kinda wish I was on the cruise now!!! Had the girls in the yard playing and when I came in the house I found water in my kitchen...turns out my washer broke and flooded my kitchen and laundry room

Just wondering what time it gets dark in Florida in November? Also do you think it will be warm enough to go to Blizzard Beach when we get off the cruise? TIA

Melaine-that's a great idea about the tuxes they'd look so cute! My girls want to dress up in their princesses dresses on formal night. Do many little girls do this? Or should I get them a fancy dress?

Okay-I don't have time to cut and paste, BUT I think all women should be able to walk around with a tiara on all the time, SO don't leave me out. I won't tell you what most people think I'm "Queen" of

The Biggest Loser-I've gotten sucked into this show for the first time this season. It's twisted in so many ways. I mean, why do they have to take their shirt off? Why do the women have to wear thos tiny tops? Why do they put them in a room with all that food after only three weeks? Why do I consider this must see tv?..............

BTW, Mel Jackson did look so cute...........Not as cute as my son of course, but REALLY cute Hi Jacob!!!!!!

The baby powder thing: There's a GF at church who I really consider a super mom. You know the annoying kind that do everything right and always have the kids well groomed and matching. That kind. Anyhoo.....she told me she uses cornstarch for trips to the beach and she swears by it. We MUST test this theory on the ship.........

Christine-I didn't get through the whole list yet, but the first one made me laugh. Am I the only one who can't fold a fitted sheet, much less do it neatly enough to fit into a pillow case?

Jamie, we have never done BB that late in the year we have done it in Oct for Halloween and in early february though.

I have been trying to remember when it gets dark in November here. I think by 7:30 or close to it. I will try to ask Greg tonight, he will know. He knows all those odd facts.

Some years it would be warm enough for BB, but others not. It just depends. we get about 6 to 8 weeks of cool weather during the year, but November is usually still mid 70's and I believe they do heat the water then when it cools off some.

I cant remember who, but one of our new nana heads asked what was up with Tiaras?

On last year cruise most of the ladies wore a tiara to our meet the first day along with our matching t-shirts. some wore them into the terminal too.
We had new disney princess ones and older ones from high school dances and proms. it was really fun to see what everyone came up with.

At lunch when I walked in without one on but has my shirt on the CM's asked me where my tiara was?? Just in 30 minutes on the ship they already knew our group of crazy ladies were wearing tiaras!!!

Also a few of the BRAVE men sang for us at adult karoake and we named them Tiara Bob and the Dreamboats. They were awesome!!!
That is why there is talk of tiaras this time.
nobody has officially said if we are wearing them again or not??

Just checking in and then I'll go back and catch up on the 7 pages of posts I haven't read yet!! I'm a binge-poster!!!!!

Yesterday I had a "therapeutic massage" -- very nice! My mom gave me a gift certificate a while back so I finally used it. As we were chit-chatting, it turns out that the therapist had Bill as a gym teacher back in high school and that her ex and her daughter are clients of ours!!!!

Just got back from work, but Wendy told me there's lots to catch up on. . .

Good thing I swallowed my drink BEFORE I read that; otherwise I would've needed ANOTHER lap top!

We were thinking about bringing a cooler with us, but one or two bottles of wine really isn't going to do that much and Joe doesn't drink that much beer so he's going to brink a bottle of Crown and I'm bringing two bottles of Malibu..........so, the water on the ship is good?

We'll pack some Bacardi and some wine. Not sure about beer. . .I have a rolling carry-on bag that I'll put liquids in on Saturday morning.

We then make sure our room steward keeps our ice bucket stocked round the clock.

I think the water is fine (I normally don't care for tap water) -- especially when it's FREE and comes with no hassles!!! But others insist on bottled water.

Also heading to Chicago on Thursday for a meeting. Overnighting in the suburbs (that's also where the meeting is) but have to have dinner with the client too. Long day and night it's going to be.

The water on these cruise ships is just as good if not better as most bottled water because it goes through all those filtering systems. Or so I've been told.

Cheri-
So you just bring a regular rolling carry on? Because I have several of those and I was thinking maybe we don't really need a cooler, but could just put a bottle of wine and whatever beer he wants to buy in one of those. The frigs in the rooms keep stuff generally cold don't they? We're not going to go through a ton of liquor anyway, since we're traveling with Alex & Jack, but we probably will want to have a drink here and there...
