We had the first brunch reservation of the morning and I am a very punctual person so of course we got there 10 minutes early I think we were the first ones in.

First of all welcome to all our new cruisers!

Shell, thanks for the new cruisemate list! I use it all the time to put faces to the names!

After a couple days of unpacking, washing, 1/2 day of school on Tuesday, groceries, etc. etc. etc. things are starting to settle down. I hope to read what I've missed since we've been gone. I did get to scan alot of pictures though. They are great!

The boys and I were at the world for 17 days! And no...we didn't get sick of it. The afternoons did get warm but when we went into the parks we came out early afternoon and swam. Many times we went to Downtown Disney or Disney Quest in the early pm. One day we spent at Sea World. Two nights at the Contemporary and watched the fireworks from our balcony every night. One of those nights was the Pirate/Princess fireworks. What a different perspective!

We moved from there to the PO French Quarter. This is our favorite resort. I think they have my name on THE list because I ALWAYS get a super great room. They are the MOST courteous resort. Love the boat to downtown.

Went to Pop Century for the free dining week. The only complaint I have about free dining is ALL the food. It's like eating Christmas dinner every night!

Here is a picture of us at CRT. This is the only resort at the time I could get the free dining at..but we will not go this resort again! Next years free dining is scheduled to start 8/30. To late for us northerners. School will start on the 2nd next year.

Josh, your senior pictures look awesome! Okie if you got by ONLY paying $300s you did great!

Well, I'll catch up on the posts and be back later. I still have to go to DCL site and see what to sign up for. I still don't know what to do on St. Maarten...Victor's goes to Orient Beach and I guess I had better stay away from there. What's everyone doing?

I have no idea what I should make ressie's for on Sunday I know we would like to do a shore excursion in St. Thomas but have no idea which one and Palo's for supper and brunch but have no idea when . I wish there was a current Navigator online.

It was no problem at all Kathy, I'm glad you're back.
So... today I had my first Hybrid school/work day. Whew I might quit that job once the shopping centre across from it is open.

My classes are quite fun. I really think that this will be a quick year to go through. My first class is study hall!!!! Why?!?! My English teacher is pretty cool too. He likes to make jokes and helps time pass by. I also like my math teacher (despite the fact that most say he's tough.) I hope this year'll breeze by.

Hi All!

Just winding down from a semi-busy day. Jess' eye was almost completely swollen shut when she got up this morning. So I kept her home so she wouldn't be stared at by everyone on the bus and at school. Like I told her, it's not like you're going to have perfect attendance this year anyway!

I made her do "school work" all day out of the various books we have here (I could never be a home-schooler!!!) so she wouldn't think staying home was fun!

We went out for dinner (or is it supper? ) so no cooking! I also got some nice gifts, but no DCL 2008 deposit. . .yet. . .

Cheri a late HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you. Hope you had a blast!!!

Bill I gave my e-mail address twice on the other board and one person responded and i did write and tell her all about this thread and invited her to join us. I did invite them to the meet too and she said they would try to come to the meet and say hello, so we will see. I will try again in about 3 weeks to contact them about this board. Only one lady seems to post much and then it's only once a week.

Hope everyone is having a good week . I finally got all unpacked but still have a lot to do. It seemed there is 5 inches of dust that filtered in while i was gone.
This weekend we will book our excursions, just need to make a final decision on them. We've been here so many times it is hard to know what we want to do.

Welcome back Dawn! Wow that was quite a vacation! I bet it's hard to get back into the swing of things after that!!

Welcome back to Kathy too! Kathy I visited the other board the other day out of curiosity and saw that you really don't have much action there. I do like the "family" message board over there because they sometimes have good ideas for traveling with kids. But you don't dare mention kids on other parts of that board because those people can get nasty!!
