Tell your mom that you are bored and I'm sure she will find plenty of things for you to do.
sweep, mop, vacuum, wash dishes, wash and dry clothes and iron them, grocery shop, feed the dog, bathe the dog, mow the lawn, weed eat the lawn, pull weeds from flower beds.

See there is NO reason for a strong healthy young man like you to be bored on a lovely summer day.

you need to get a helper monkey that is trained to run the lawn mower for you. They train monkeys to do about everything you can think of for people who need help.
Then you can have monkey kinfe fights and charge admission like Homer does.

Good morning Nanas!!

The heat wave is also hitting Illinois today. Supposed to be in the mid-90's with plenty of humidity. (I'll have to decide whether to run inside or outside today. . . ) Luckily we had some rain last week so the lawn is still green.

Matthews! WE are just a bunch of !!

Bill & Cal made it home safely yesterday. They had a good time and the Cubs won both games!

Good Morning All!

I did get the watering done last night TWO hours on each spot! But this morning the grass is actually pretty green and I think it grew overnight! Maybe I'm just noticing it because it IS green!

Josh, have fun having your senior pictures taken! Parents be ready with the wallet!

Not planning on much today, we'll have to lay low and do things in the house. Maybe take a dip in the pool before the cement gets too hot!

Christine, we went to Disney during our spring break this year and although it was crazy, we found refuge at the water parks. Since we are happy anywhere at the World, we just picked and chose where we went and when- we are going back in April to stay at our AKL villa (DVC)for the first time.

Kayla is home safe and sound from Europe but I think she has a better time in Epcot than she did in Europe
Now on to planning what to pack and which St. Johns excursion to do......

Welcome to our newest family!!!!! Although I have not officially met any of the lovable Nanas, over the last few months, I am finding myself feeling part of the family- so enjoy the posting and get busy doing those posts or the whip will come out!

Pictures were fine, except they had my head almost facing the wrong way. They were nice none the less. Costs $25, so not too bad.
Bill, I hate cutting the lawn too, so I get my dad to do it . He owns his own business anyway, so why not?
Oh, and is anyone a Harry Potter fanatic? I just got my seventh book, courtousy of my mom. Been reading pretty good, ignoring my school work . Who wants to do that anyway?

WELCOME Mathews Family!!!!! Wow, a vacation without kids!!!! Good for you. I think we could help you with an idea or two of how to act

My son stayed home with me today from camp, so I decided we would be crafty and headed to Michael's. I was excited to see what kind of scrapbooking ideas I could come up with for the pictures I haven't taken yet, of the cruise I haven't yet been on I KNOW, I have ISSUES

Anyhooo, the 15 minute trip to the store lasted about an hour because guess who had a flat tire? Yep!! I also learned my Ford roadside assistance expired in April. I know there are a lot of capable women out there, I however am not one of them. NO SIR, that's why I'm married, I mean it's one of the Perks right? So, I called mommy and she came and rescued me (and took me to lunch). Called the hubby and told him he needed to change my tire on the way home. HE WAS SO HAPPY

No rain today, so it's on to my Tuesday ritual of Pool and Passporter.

Howdy all,

Okie, years ago when my last graduated it was close to $200 and we got the minimum we needed to send out.
My son said oh well mom think of it as you finally wont have to worry about paying for school supplies anymore after this last big expense.

I replied, Thats right , no more school costs, just college and we all know that doesnt cost hardly anything

Going to be another hot steamy day here today. I will do my errands early so I wont have to be out in the steamy weather, I hope!!

Dogs are both sleeping nicely this morning so I will be in for tons of energy this afternoon.

I see that your part Native American. Is that true? My mom tells me that my great grandmother was Native American too. Not sure what tribe though...
