Hey gangl...good Sunday to all of you.

Cheri....thanks for the tips, the funny ones and the serious ones. I usually do break up the running part of the workout. I just wanted to see what it would take to really run me out of gas....it worked. And besides, thats a weekend workout...usually its just 1/2 hour on the treadmill...1/2 on the eliptical and I still do some of the treadmill walking. So there, its not a deathmarch.

Cool pics, Josh...any tips on how to make 17 weeks go by like 2? I'm really getting antsy to get on the boat.

Ok....off to wash the car and do some trimming around the yard. bbl

Dang it, Josh...thats like the third or fourth time we posted within a minute of each other....you followin me?

That washing the car thing reminds me--is anyone a mechanic? I'm having troubles with my "new" car and I'm looking for some advise. :confused3
- Josh

P.S. Bill, I haven't quite completed my time machine yet so...

hi guys.. missing you guys on the board.. just dropping in saying hi from Kristiansund in Norway... where we're staying until Friday..

Sue - Glad you are having fun. I have been perusing your blog and enjoying reading it. I think your Lara and my Emily will become fast friends on this cruise.

Woo is going to have competition with you being her best friend. I want my fair share of time with you...I like the way you think!

:rotfl: Unfortunately, the only time you'll ever see me running is if someone is chasing me and I actually have something worth keeping (like a perfectly mixed Mojito) So, at this current moment in time, there is PLENTY of me to go around.

No power last night.........I don't know how I made it through:confused3
Oh wait, yeah I do. I was worried the chilled wine would go bad, so I popped the cork and anticipated all I would have to catch up on on the DIS Boards.

Looks like the rain is finally going to stop for a bit. DS starts a camp tomorrow which I have NO idea how to get. We're going for a dry run now to make sure I don't get lost:rolleyes1 I don't want to be THAT mom

Good afternoon all!

Just waiting for the freshly-mopped kitchen floor to dry so I thought I'd check in! (I'm also putting off going to get groceries and do the other things on my list.)

Not much else going on so I better go outside and pretend to do important things out there while I soak up some sun.

Have a great afternoon!!!

Cheri:banana:

Judy,
4 TEENAGE GIRLS!!!!! What were you thinking??:lmao:
I raised 2 girls that was enough. I would rather raise a dozen boys to one teenage girl:scared:

I'm sure Josh will help you keep track of them, he is such a gentleman:rolleyes1

Josh we have 14 tapes of 14 disney cruises to watch.:happytv: That is so painful!!! But it is also so much fun to do. We will be doing a lot of taping on this cruise too. I want to bring the cam corder to the dis meet this time too.

So EVERYONE had better be there:thumbsup2

Just got back from the new Die Hard movie, we all loved it and thought it was the best of the 3. There was only about 12 of us in the theater.
Next weekend will be the Simpsons Movie. Greg and Peter are so anxious to see that one. Since we live in a small town our theater usually isnt crowded.

Sue, glad your having fun. Looking forward to hearing more from you really soon,

Greg and Peter have gone out to dinner, so NO cooking tonight for me. YEAH!!

kathy

All girls eh? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Our little Josh has grown up quite a bit since the last cruise, huh? :rotfl2:

JUDY: Are you getting the Cruisemate List e-mailed to you? (I don't remember if I have your e-mail address or not). If so, then you can see on it all the kids that we have coming and their ages.

SUE: Geez, good to hear from you! I was beginning to think that we scared you off that quickly! Have fun in Norway and travel safe!

KIM: Whew! Good to know that you didn't let that wine go to waste! There's nothing worse than good booze gone bad. :rotfl2:

CHERI: I want my kudos, too! I rode 17 miles today and 6 yesterday (they closed part of my one bike path so I couldn't go longer. I mean, why in the world would they repave a path in the middle of summer when people are using it??? Ding-dongs!). How was girls' weekend? Did you and Jess play dress up and have tea parties, or did you teach her how to make a rockin' mojito? :lmao:

Kathy, That is a great list. Thanks for posting it for us. I still have not be able to watch the cruise ships! I'm going to have to put it on the priority list for the day and maybe I'll get to watch.

Josh, Thanks for the pictures. I have seen alot of pictures. But the ones that cruisers take seem so much more real.

Kim, PLEASE send some of the rain this way...we have had 3/10 of an inch since the beginning of summer. Everything is wilting.

Guess that's all for now. Had to turn the air back on this evening as the temperature began creeping up. The breeze was nice earlier and not as humid as yesterday.

Dawn

Evenin everyone....

I'm trying to avoid folding laundry so I came up here to try and divert...

1584--Cheri was the last to post. One year ago. Thats how many posts we had one year ago tonight. Pretty amazing that we have so many more than we did last year....must be a pretty special bunch!

Thank you Kathy I try to be a gentleman. :hippie:
My dad's still not finished his tapes. But it's not only tough to watch because of the urge to go, but 95% of his recordings was of WATER. As in OCEAN. popcorn:: popcorn:: He's aware though. I told him

- Josh
Oh, and I'll be at the dis meeting. That's on the ship right?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was busy and a good time too. I just read on the main board where RCCL is now going smoke free in its cabins. The only thing keeping us from investigating other cruise lines was that you would never know if your cabin was going to reek from the past guests...so I guess now we can start thinking about freedom of the seas for a future cruise!:cool1:

Kathy! Code Red! We have a free thinker! That's mutany! ;)

- Josh

Could it be? Am I actually the FIRST to post this fine morning:thumbsup2

We're off to an earlier start than usual for camp. DS NOT happy about it either. Took a little trial run yesterday and I feel confident I will get lost a minimum of twice:sad2: I don't know what I was thinking. Hopefully he will have a great time.

Rain all day today. We needed it too, but it makes for a VERY long commute. Whatever it takes to bring in the DCL money, right? DS used to beg me to homeschool him. After I explained that not only would that grant him the equivalent of a 6th grade education..........:rolleyes1 it would also mean doing without a yearly vacation to the Mouse. He was like "Have a nice day at work mom":rotfl2:

Have a great morning all

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Jeff investigate closely. Dont get taken like we did on Carnival.:sad2:
I do believe the Freedom would be a great ship to go on because it is so new but Dont tell Mickey or he may not let you back on DCL:rolleyes1

The Glory was newer than the Magic and it was beautiful but the crew was aweful and the deck plan was terrible!!! Hope the crew on the Freedom will be better for you if you get the chance to go.:thumbsup2

Morning all, I am slow at posting today because I had a ton of mail to sort through before getting to the boards today. Been up since 5 a.m., but I have been busy.

Bill, we do have a lot of posts but remember Christine and i had a good start here for everyone before you joined up;)
I want us to beat last year for posts and bananas and then in 08 beat this years totals.

I want DOUBLE our last years posts here!!!! and DOUBLE the  so you guys need to keep busy!!

I have to admit all of you have been posting great lately, having 2 whips on my signature must of helped:lmao:

Good Morning all..

Kayla's flight just left Madrid so keep her in your thoughts today that she flies safely across the ocean and the US and is home ON TIME(haha) tonight! Kathy, only 2 of the teens are mine by birth, one is Robin's and one is a borrowed one for the cruise. However, imagine a cabin with three teens and me- it is why a verandah is a MUST:rotfl:
In celebration of Kayla's coming home, I made my last payment on the cruise this morning and now I am totally paid!!! Next is saving for all the other goodies- we will take an excursion in St. Thomas over to St. Johns, not sure which one yet, but otherwise, money is best spent on the boat!
I am sure the girls will be in touch with Joel and CHelsea and other Dteens before we leave-
Off to the gym and to see Hairspray today before the flight arrives tonight...watching those juicing ideas is my idea of a diet!!!!
Have a great day!
Judy
