Sorry I haven't been on innthe last few days... Kayla was to have flown to Rome Italy 2 days ago but the flights were canceled and she is finally out about an hour ago after a day and a half in Newark. My grandfather, the one I visited in June for his 105 bday, has gone down hill and tomorrow I fly to Gainesville- after I get Rachel off to camp for 2 weeks- and help him in Hospice. No idea how long I'll need to be there but will enjoy the moments I can get to this thread and feel the Disney love out there.
All will come together, I hope to find some good goodie bag ideas while I have some downtime in Gainesville.
Sorry about your back and the Carnival disappointment, just keep your eye out for pixie dust and it will all work out>>>>>

Mornin everyone.... had to put the dog out so I thought I'd beat everyone to the punch and post early. Its gonna be another lovely day here in Ohio. Gonna walk down to the gym and see if I can work out (backs a lil stiff---I DO NOT like getting old). We have a Birthday party today and I have to see if I can find somewhere that sells ceramic piggy banks or something like that. We've been putting change and spare cash into a little jar fund and I want to kinda make a game out of it but am I that old that they dont use piggy banks anymore? The quest goes on....

I have seen ceramic piggy banks at the local dollar store before. They were not very big though. Most of the banks are now the platsic kind made to look like different cartoon characters . I have 4 banks, one for each kind of coin I save. Of course mine are all Disney themed

It is my extra cruise money!!

I have one regular piggy bank left bu tit is about 3 feet tall and Mr. BLT is wearing bib overalls . I painted him 25 years ago, maybe longer. But he get too heavy when he flls up , so I use smaller banks now.


Well today I am all alone with my doggies
Everyone has gone to MGM studios for the day. My back is still hurting so I am taking it easy today. I hope to go out with them tomarrow, where ever they go.

It's me again. We are taking a break from the pool and beach and I was just checking email so I thought I'd say hey. The most recent highlight is that Elizabeth and I both took surfing lessons yesterday and we both got up on the board multiple times. I have to say it was one of the most fun activities I have ever done on any vacation despite feeling this morning like i have a broken rib (hope I don't). Had a massage this morning and then a lot of pool time today. We are going to the Old Lahaina Luau tonight so we were hoping Emily would nap (no chance of course) but now back to the beach.

Howdy all,
well it is hot again today but is suppose to cool off with thunderstorms later today.
the family had a good time at MGM yesterday.
Today they are going to the movies to see the Pirates movie. I havnt seen it yet, but I know my back wont take sitting in a theater seat for Greg and Peter will take them.

I may bake some brownies or something while they are gone.

Not much else happening here right now.
Greg is going to mow the lawn this morning.

Morning everyone. Just finished booking our room at the Radisson on Friday...now we just have to figure out how we're getting down there. If anyone else is going from Orlando Airport to the port on Friday, pm either Woo or myself. Maybe we can share a shuttle. If anyone has done this before and knows a better way...I'm all ears. Better hurry though...we only have 4 months-1 week-a few days...ok, maybe I'm planning too far in advance....my bad .

Hope everyones having a good weekend. I'm ready to go back to bed...geez.

if all goes well we will also be at the Radisson for Friday night.
Greg will have to work so we wont get there until 6 to 7 but we will be there. It's just makes for a more leisurely start to the cruise as opposed to driving over there from home.
We did this last time and it worked great!!

It has started raining here , so the thunderstorm is approaching fast.
everyone is at the movies, so it is me and the dogs again thos afternoon.


If enough of us gather at the Radisson we can have a pool party friday evening!! They have lots of chairs and tables around the pool and a tiki bar too. Bill can buy everyone a margarita to toast us Bon Voyage!
They also have a kiddie pool, so there will be something for everyone.
There is a small arcade for the teens, but it was really tiny.

Anybody else going to be staying at the Radisson??

I just found someone going on our cruise!!!
They didnt post a name but it will be their first cruise.
I invited them to join us here. I hope they will stop by and say hello.

It is always so much fun to have a new family to chat with.


I also have found a new family on a different board, but they have only posted once. If they start posting regular I will find a way to tell them about us. The other board wont allow you to say the name of a different board. They will delete your posts , so it can get a bit crazy trying to get the message across.
