Joe going to do research at Pinnocios Pizzaria
Good idea...I think we might be able to write the cruise off:rotfl:

Kathy, welcome back. Can't wait to hear all about Carnival. I swore I would never go on Carnival but they have the best Europe Itinerary. I want to know ever Gory detail:eek:

Jeff, can't wait to hear all about your trip too. We love Kaanapali but have been there twice, next time we go to Maui I was thinking of staying at the Kea Lani (my dream hotel). We did visit Wailea and didn't think it had the same feel as Kaanapali. Have a Mai Tai at the Hula Grill for me:drinking1.

Jeff: I'm truly jealous of your family vacation! The way you describe Maui sounds just like a bit of what heaven must be like. I hope you have lots of pics to share with us when you return! Can't wait to see! :goodvibes Keep having a great time! :cloud9:

Holly-
Are you sure you haven't gotten one? That's weird. We got one on our last cruise too. It's just a large "brochure" with information about the cruise, excursions, etc. I really already know most of it, but it's fun to get anyway!

Feeling the need for a little mickey magic- may take a trip to the Disney story later this week just to feel the magic!
Judy, we ended up at a Jimmy Buffet tribute band concert on Friday, because, as Bill put it, we needed an island fix ... BAD!

Hola everyone. Just returned from the weekend in St Louis. Hunter had a great time. We are all tired and full of food (along with other things). Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Miss ya all.

Nope. The only thing I've ever received each cruise is the packet of info about a week before the cruise with luggage tags in it and green bahamas form (used to have documents in it before the online system). It also has a couple small brochures, but I think just about renting tuxes onboard and for buying gifts to be left in the room.

 I haven't gotten a packet either. Maybe it will be in my mailbox when I get home tonight.

 I just made the final payment on the cruise:banana: Now there's now turning back. I had to pay earlier because we have the Romance Package and if I pay in full I can make all my reservations 105 days out, which is Aug 11th:banana: So excited:banana:

It melted on its way to your house.
:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Just an FYI, I went to make an ADR for Donald's Breakfastosaurus and I couldn't. They said they are changing the location and don't know when it will be reopen. The last day you can get an ADR for is Nov 5th:mad: Well they just messes up my Friday morning plans.

Hi all....

As Josh said, we came home early--we camp with my friend and her husband. Last year at this same time her mother fell and broke her hip...guess what.....she fell again this year and shattered her femur on the same side:eek: Then I got a call the next morning that my 17 year old nephew was in emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix-it had been ruptured for about a week--according to the doc-"it was the worst she had seen in a long time!" He ended up in ICU overnight-we therefore left early to come home....on the way home my cell phone rings....it is my step-father telling me that my mom fell and may have broken her arm...:scared1: ...good news is...she didn't....but, we are getting to the point now that she may need an assisted living place because she is getting to be too much for my step-father:sad1: Again...being an only child can be very stessful:scared:

Just booked 4 days at SSR in Feb for DH and my 20th anniversary :woohoo: the numbers don't seem to add up though......I'm only 29 :rotfl2:

Kathy....welcome back! Can't wait to see and read your report!!

Applied for our passports today--MAN WHAT AN EXPENSE:mad: Told us it would be 12 weeks.....lets hope!

I got our DCL packet in the mail today; not much new information but as Holly says it was fun to get DCL mail!

Kathy, looking forward to your Carnival cruise report. I really don't have a desire to go on any other cruises anymore...it seems I'm not much into that kindda life style...gambling, "drunk" drinking, and not many kids. Disney is more my style for kids that never grow up! Bring me the mouse! ;)

Dawn

Thanks Mom. So you see? It's not the weather that's got me, but the family. Tommorrow is supposed to be 95(?) here. Hope Hershey doesn't melt!

Here's the only mouse I want to see! (except Minnie of course)

Jeff, can't wait to hear all about your trip too. We love Kaanapali but have been there twice, next time we go to Maui I was thinking of staying at the Kea Lani (my dream hotel). You express our feelings exactly. Love the Kea Lani but the "feel" of Wailea is a bit too quiet for our taste. It was good to start our trip here as we try to get used to the 6 hour time difference and get some relaxing time in. But now it feels like we want more to DO...or more places to be able to walk to (love the beach walk in Kaanapali) and we are REALLY missing the Hula Grill which is just about our favorite place on earth to be - sitting in the barefoot bar, shoes off, toes in the sand, drink in hand, Hawaiian band playing. I am betting we'll be there on Wednesday night - which is our first night at the Hyatt.

Today we went to the Maui Aquarium and it was nice. Needed to stay out of the sun a bit since Emily got a bit pink yesterday. Elizabeth rented a boogie board and spent a lot of time in the ocean. The aquarium was certainly in a beautiful setting for sure and lots and lots of sea creatures..including a great walk through plexiglass tunnel with rays and various fish swimming all around us.

Elizabeth wants to take surfing lessons (so I'll be attempting that with her at some point - yikes).

Meeting photog in a few minutes to look at our proofs. Tonight it's shopping at the Shops of Wailea and dinner somewhere there - probably the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" cousin in the plaza.

Our only bad news of the trip is that somehow housekeeping swept up Emily's favorite stuffed animal (Roo) when changing sheets and now it appears to be lost. She's had it since she was just a few weeks old..so we're a bit sad too.

Hope everyone is doing well. TTFN

Morning all,
well I finished my rough draft of my report. It is too long so will try and shorten it up a bit today and proof read it to make sure I did nt leave out something I wanted to say.
I hope to have it posted by tomarrow morning. It iwll be in several separate posts because this site limited the amount of characters and pictures you can post on each post, so be patient when you see it being posted, it will take me a few minutes to do it.

well off to proof read,

have a good HOT day everyone, i know we will. Suppose to be 95 but with humidity they are saying it will feel like 108 most places.:scared1:

Kathy

Happy Birthday to my little old man, Guido, today!
